The insane fantasies of the Marxist EPA laid low by one simple chart

But if the EPA can stop just one extra molecule of the deadly toxin known as carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere, the destruction of the American economy will be worth it!

Please note, of course, that the EPA won't dare to speak out against the Earth's most egregious polluter, China.

China's level of pollution renders all of America's activities meaningless, but that won't stop the Marxist left from bankrupting America's energy producers.

There has been no global warming for 17 years and 6 months -- according to the gold standard of temperature measurement known as the RSS satellite record -- but that won't stop the Marxist left from issuing thousands of new regulations every year.

In 2012, the EPA's insane regulations were costing the American economy nearly $400 billion a year. It's far worse today.

The needless destruction of the coal industry by the Democrat Party led the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to warn of rolling blackouts within the next two years.

Let me be the first to suggest that the grid should always start energy conservation by shutting down all power to Washington, D.C.

I mean, the EPA must want the blackouts to occur, so they should be the very first to feel the pain.

    .................More at the Link...................

Why is obama allowing the EPA to shunt the US economy? It was his plan from the very start, but it still makes no sense.

We borrow billions of dollars to pay our bills, because of a recession, but obama and pals policies are the very reason we're still in a recession.

Why are democrats shooting America in the foot?

    What do you think?

The Democrats need another "new revenue stream", in other words more tax dollars. The real question is how to squeeze the American tax payer for more money in this horrible Obamanomics economy and not (*)(*)(*)(*) them off enough to retaliate in the voting booth?

If the Democrats want to tax Carbon Emissions then let their tax bill specify that the money is ONLY TO BE SPENT ON CO2 REDUCTION. None of the money is to go into the general fund. If they won't do that then we're being suckered.

These goofy, hyperliberal morons should go back to their beloved colleges and get Master's Degrees in music and art, and get out of the business of trying to run the energy needs and economy of the United States!

Fact: Carbon Dioxide throughout the entire planet (even including China) makes up 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere! But we're all supposed to go into paroxysms of hysteria and panic because carbon dioxide, which is actually necessary for life in the world, makes up less than one-half of one percent of the atmosphere. Who voted to put these idiots and morons in charge of anything more rigorous than a drawing room poetry recital...?!

The fine particles in that standard include dust, mold spores and all kinds of stuff not caused by humans.

I know but still 9 outta the top 10 polluted cities in America barely break the World Health Organizations recommendations for air quality, and all of Chinas top ten, are all more than 10 times higher than the standard.

Why are eight of the top ten polluting cities in the United States in California, the state with the most stringent environmental laws? Could it be that California has a higher Chinese population than other states? Probably. It isn't that China pollutes, per se, it is that Chinese people pollute! It's science, deal with it.

Is this what you right-wingers really want?

    http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/02/w...on-linked-to-1-2-million-deaths-in-china.html

Air Pollution Linked to 1.2 Million Premature Deaths in China

BEIJING — Outdoor air pollution contributed to 1.2 million premature deaths in China in 2010, nearly 40 percent of the global total, according to a new summary of data from a scientific study on leading causes of death worldwide.

    Thats your argument really?

If your strawman is to be believed, why isnt America like china now, without all the EPA's gestapo regulations?

Your post is an obvious lie

Is California the worst US offender because the tradewinds blow from the West to East?

And its over populated and all the trees burn down every year in forrest fires, and theres no water to grow grass, or drink.

Our first step should be to boot out the millions of illegals in socal, that should help alleviate the over crowding and shortness of American resources.

    Yes.

Because Republicans are less than 1/2 of the political power in this country.

Your chart supports my post. Most right-wingers want to eliminate the EPA and let companies pollute as much as they want.

In fact the main premise of your OP, expresses this desire to just "give up" and let the polluters pollute.

no, your argument is completely backwards.

The EPA hasnt bankrupted coal fired power plants yet, and pollution in America is less than 1/10th that of China.

The only thing forcing everyone onto natural gas will do, is make Americans poor, and T Boone Pickens rich.

Lets take a look at the lying liars who lie....

The Chinese are the slaves of America's rich/elites, and exploiting them is worth any amount of pollution, but hamstringing the average American to assure competition is minimal is just another part of the same equation.

    Follow the money!

The US, including any of their agencies including the EPA, do not have jurisdiction in China. They are meant to enforce the law in the United States, which they don't really do anyway. Complaining about China should be done by the US State Dept. to use diplomatic influence, which is the best we can do.

I would always remind people that NO government agencies ever do any science. Nor can they, due to inherent conflict of interest. They don't issue studies, they issue "reports". I don't believe in separation of church and state but I believe in separation of science in state for a very important reason. The point of the agencies is to circumvent science, by doing pseudo science to make people think that their agenda is scientifically determined when in fact it isn't.

That being said, carbon dioxide does indeed behave as a greenhouse gas. If you believe it doesn't, then you would have to go head to head with actual, real world, empirically proven, peer reviewed science that confirm that it does indeed behave as a greenhouse gas. Otherwise, you'd have to dispute that humans were generating excess Co2.. Otherwise there's no way else to slice it; human activity does help the climate get warmer. Notice I only said "help".. Not that it causes it on its own. In fact it's hardly one of the biggest factors. But it doesn't help things, either.

And I fail to see how a carbon tax would "destroy the economy". They said if they didn't prop up their crooked banks with hundreds of billions of taxpayer funded welfare it would "destroy the economy" etc. They always use fear tactics. They are already destroying the economy anyway.

    Yes.

The EPA succeeded in cleaning up America.

But now it is killing America economically.

Actually your graph is pretty disappointing for America. Still a lot of unhealthy air in American cities. EPA should work better.

I think you just do not understand what pollution is. It is not CO2, which can spread around world. It is ozone and small particles, which have relatively short lifetime and are dangerous only locally. ItÂ’s rather easy to understand: Chinese pollution is killing Chinese, American pollution is killing Americans. So, forget about China when talking about US. Ask EPA to make stricter codes for polluters.

    No.

In 1960s air much worse than now.

Air much better today because Tricky Dick created EPA.

But now time for EPA to go away.

Na, We're fine. California is over populated, its got more people than the entire country of Canada, or the entire continent of Australia.

Furthermore, California has the worst air quality, but its obviously not the result of coal fired power plants, because there are no coal fired power plants west of California.

Raising the price of electricity is not going to help Americans get outta the recession, its going to make everything we're currently suffering from worse.

    - - - Updated - - -

i dont think they should go away, I just dont believe they should be pawns of the left handed.

This isnt even about air quality, its about making T Boone Pickens rich.

The EPA is out of control.

Congress doesn't control it and in many cases neither does the president.

What would you do with a wild animal that was destroying your whole way of life?
