    Yeah . . . that is right up there with Publius and the Federalist Papers or Paul Revere's ride to warn of British advancements or Washington crossing the Delaware. Yeah, good stuff that he was first world leader to acknowledge US Independence . . . the very fabric of our early beginnings.

    Our President calls that Army colonel who went nuts shooting and killing as he was yelling allah a akbar (or whatever that death chant is) "workplace violence". Imagine that . . . not a terrorist attack but your run of the mill workplace violence. Makes me want to vomit.

    He was being discriminated against because he was a Muslim. Islamophobic hatred is what drives terrorists. It's our failure to adopt a progressive mindset and respect other people's beliefs that leads to violence. I blame the Reich wing *********s and the Republicans.

    could not have been discriminated to much being a Major and all that. I would have a hard time w/ discrimination even if he was a private.

    I thought the funny part was when the OP changed the context of what was being said so that he could feed his own preexisting contempt and find as many stupid people as possible to continue the false narrative. Thanking someone for their contribution is in no way the same as crediting them with building the very fabric of our nation…….so go and board that train of stupidity there’s plenty of room and the ride comes with plenty of laughs . But I’ll stick to what’s actually being said

    He did, however, say, that being disrespectful and hateful towards those of other cultures and religions breeds extremism.

    Of course, he could have been ironic. So hard to tell online.

    Are you saying radical Islam came from people not accepting them? Really? Their laws against women should be accepted? REALLY? We should accept Sharia? Seriously? If we don't we're not being progressive enough? REALLY?? Not accepting some of their beliefs didn't make them radical. Islam has ALWAYS had radical leanings by our standards. Many are borderline atrocious by first world, 21st century standards. Refusing to ACCEPT someone who wants to convert you through force is not being hateful. Thats called self preservation. But thats exactly what Islam breeds. FORCED conversion. Don't you know history? Look at what they do. They're radical(not all) because thats who they are, not because anyone turned them that way. Sure, in the US, they're not radical(yet), but thats because we won't accept it. You think we should accept any belief system someone has, even if it changes your way of life for the worse? Are you insane?

    And Bundy is not being ironic or sarcastic. Read his posts. He's either nutty or trolling. Hard to tell sometimes with people=)
