The GOP cannot survive as a party that panders to or even "overlooks" racists within

Well said. Even these internet white guilt knights would feel more threatened by a group of blacks walking towards them late at night than a group of whites. They just don't want to admit it. It's important for the party they unapologetically shill for for them to maintain an image of tolerance.

Even Jesse Jackson agrees with me.

I notice you cut out the first half of his post... because even you realize that opening with such outlandish accusations doesn't help your cause.

Sure it is... the GOP definitely has a bright future with the "oppressed white men" angle.

    LOL

I think the left wants us to get into a war of who give the most free stuff.
Vote for me and I will give free pagers to everyone.
Vote to me and I will give you your very own free drone.
    Etc.

According to the right, the poor are making out like bandits. It's the rich people that are supposedly getting shafted.

Yes, it is. You can't admit there is racism in the GOP....so your only "explanation" for why most blacks vote Democratic is...."they're stupid".

Overlooking the idiocy within is exactly the issue being brought up in the OP.

I never said any of that, nor did I deny there is racism in the GOP, nor did I offer any opinion on why most blacks vote democrat. But if you keep saying it over and over, maybe you can get some people to believe it.

We do agree with you, just for vastly different reasons. We are scared of them because when people are hungry they are more dangerous, you guys are scared because you think black people are ignorant and genetically prone to be quick to violence. If I was English and saw a drunk Irishmen in the 1800's, I would be scared of him too. Is that racist? The Irish are white, but they were put in the same category as blacks for a long time, the Indians actually considered the blacks and Irish related because they were always working together. You know how the Irish got white people to accept them? By oppressing black people and screwing them over, especially financially.

Its not irrational to be scared of particular groups or cultures, it IS irrational to be scared of them because of the color of their skin.

No, not when it comes to drugs. So Mr. Paul thinks if drugs were made legal blacks and Hispanics would be flocking to the polls to vote for Republicans. I don't think so. Blacks has been the most loyal voting block since the end of the Civil War. First voting en mass for the Republican Party until the Great Depression and FDR. Then they switched their allegiance to the Democrats. The Great Dperession the hope FDR provided caused not only blacks to migrate to the Democrats, but a heck of a lot of whites to. In fact from approximate 1935 to 1975 the Democrats average a bit over half the electorate identifying themselves with that Party.

Pew Research for the 1935-2000 numbers/Gallup for 2005-Today

    Year…Dem…Rep…Ind…Ind.Lean.Dem….Ind.Lean.Rep…..True.Ind
    1935…51……30……19
    1940…50……32……18
    1945…47……35…..18
    1950…48……32…..20
    1955…47……35…..18
    1960…51……29…..20
    1965…52……24….24
    1970…47……27…..26
    1975…51……21…..28
    1980…45……27…..28
    1985…40……32…...28
    1990…38……30…..32
    1995…32……32…..36
    2000…34……30…..36
    2005…34……33……30………..14…………………....8…………………8
    2010…32……33…..34………..12……………………15…………………7
    2011…30……27…..42………..18……………………15…………………9
    2012…35……30…..33………..16……………………12…………………5
    2013…30……24….44………..14…………………..18………………..13
    2014…26……25….47………..16…………………..22………………….9…..As of September 7, 2014

As for blacks there switch occurred between between 1932 and 1936 were 71% of blacks voted for FDR in 1936 and that percentage continued to increase to where 94% of blacks were voting Democratic by 1964. Since then roughly 90% plus have voted Democratic.

And so, to sum this up, Gorn Captian clearly chopped up my posts and tried to make them appear to say something that I clearly did not say, but that he desperately WANTED me to say. When he was unsuccessful at baiting me, he just claimed I said it anyway. What does this say about the rest of his posts, and of the OP? This is the strategy of the left, and illustrates eloquently the very point I was trying to make.

You can stick your head in the sand and deny it all you want to.

Name ONE official policy that the USA engages in that is explicitly racist towards black people.

I can name SEVERAL that are racist explicitly against white males.

I'll gladly answer if you answer the question I asked: Biden says something racist every couple of weeks. Why are you guys overlooking him?

As for Rand Paul, what, specifically, are you referring to?

Maybe it should pander to the strippers and the Welfare recipients. That seems to be working.

Don't you love a liberal who all of a sudden cares what one Republican says when that Republican's elections are coming up?

    From the Irony Files -

Sentient Being : Why do racial minorities in general vote overwhelmingly and increasingly for Democrats nationally? Could any part of it be because of perceived racism and a feeling that the GOP at best disrespects them and at worst despises them and that it embraces many fringe elements who indulge in, again, at best insensitive and at worst grossly offensive remarks toward racial minorities?

True Patriot : No, it's because they're stupid.

It's funny, it's the democrat party that feels that minorities are too incompetent to be able to provide for themselves and as such they need to be taken care of.
