Are the KKK liberal or conservative?

The only difference is their stance on Jews, but ive always wondered, maybe the only reason Republicans stopped hating Jews is so they can use someone as a shield in the Middle East? Not out of love, but out of practicality.

I wouldn't call it stupidity, but it is some really low brow propaganda that can fool people who don't understand what the south was like politically between 1880-1980.

It's quite simple...if you have a map of the states in the US...and you color the ones that were pro slave prior to 1865 red....they are all red states. The old confederacy vis a vis "conservative principles" as Fox News promotes it, also includes much of the midwest, and the redneck western states.

The fact remains that Robert Byrd and Strom Thurmond were Democrats....but they wouldn't last one minute in today's diverse Democratic Party.

One can learn a lot by educating themselves about "Yellow Dog Democrats", "Dixiecrats", and the CRA

 

I don't know. never met a member of the KKK as far as I know.

The political junkies though have surely seen the facts and DO KNOW the history of America from 1880-1980, yet they still pretend the KKK are Democrat liberals when they know for a fact they arent. I dont think its stupidity, I think its blatant propaganda. In their minds at home they know they are racist, I think its a lot like what the Muslims do when it comes to lying, they think its ok to lie if it helps your religion, conservatives think its ok to lie if it helps their party which is why so many lie on such a mass scale, its part of their ideology just like it is with Islam, they even have a special word for a lie that is told to help your religion I forget what the word is but its a serious and real thing.

I honestly don’t care what the KKK says about themselves. Even Hitler believed he was doing the greater good. We all know what the KKK is. I’m not sure how all of this plays into my point that neither conservatives or liberals subscribe to the thinking of the KKK

Did you not see the KKK's little charter on what their views are? Do I need to post them a third time? They are SPOT ON what the conservatives think and believe, exactly word for word the only divergence is about the Jews, that is where the conservatives and the KKK split ways but other than that there is absolutely no question their ideology itself is exactly the same.


You know people didnt leave the KKK because of lynchings and racism right? They left because a KKK member raped a white women and it destroyed their reputation, that is why most people left, not because they stopped being racist.

 

Dems have yet to get over their obsession with race. How about helping those that want help instead of helping those of certain races?

While I agree racism is independent of the vast majority political ideologies, it is very clear that the KKK absolutely hates liberals. You can find all kinds of reference to the evil of liberals on their websites and literature.

 

Yet they are two peas in a pod. Both obsess on race.

 

Thats only because there are more white people, but when you look at the percentage minorities are far more likely to be in poverty.


I was born in deep poverty and couldnt afford college and all my Mexican friends (I live in a extremely Mexican city so the only people I know besides my family are Mexican) essentially got cheap college just for being Mexican, they got cheap healthcare too, but me? I cant even dream of affording college especially with the tuition rates they are at now, I also have never been to the doctor because I cant afford (*)(*)(*)(*) like that because I am in the middle class, I dont get free ANYTHING and I have never attempted to sign up for government benefits. I grew up in a middle class family but both my parents spent all their money on alcohol so even though technically we were "middle class" we were actually below most people in poverty because we didnt get food stamps or anything of the sort due to the money my dad made, sadly they dont take into account what the parents DO with that money, which in my parents case was buy alcohol. I couldnt even eat at school and had to eat Ramen at home, I was heavily malnourished and in deep poverty with no government assistance meanwhile my Mexican friends around me I envied because in my view they had everything I didnt, I thought poor people were rich, thats how poor I was. I admit this is largely because I am white and am not eligible for government help the way most minorities are, so im a "victim" of affirmative action you could say. Why do I still support it? Because I grew up and saw ACTUAL rich people on TV......and they are utterly despicable, I would rather have to eat Ramen everyday and let minorities have some extra things than let a White Aristocracy continue to get insanely rich beyond anything I could ever imagine or dream of. Every fight ive ever been in was against a Mexican making fun of me for being white, yet I still support immigration even if it is just to spite the white aristocracy that owns this country, that is one of the reasons indeed but not the only. Dealing with racism my whole life I have learned being racist back only makes things much much worse, the best thing to do is be open and supportive of all races and try to help them, white people are the majority and in charge of this aristocracy so I think they have more than enough support and deserve their share of criticism now.

 

There was a saying in our family, born out of much experience "The only difference between a Klan meeting and a Baptist service is 12 hours and a change of clothes".The tea party and stormfronters might consider them liberal but here on Planet Normal..............BENGHAZI!

I didnt say anything about rich people being racist in that post, it was a reference to class warfare not race warfare. I talked about how I thought my Mexican friends were rich even though they were in poverty, I never really met any white people aside from my family which is small, so the first time I really saw other white people was on TV, and all I saw was extremely wealthy white people, and A LOT of them, more than I have ever seen in my entire life. I despise them because their incredible wealth they hold onto while kids around the country incredibly malnourished and have nothing, the fact they are racist is just a bi-product of that initial malevolence. They wouldnt be so racist if they werent so far from minorities, economically and geographically. So if we can crush that income gap we can crush racism, that is why I hold class warfare far above race warfare, class warfare is the cause of race warfare, not vice-versa.

Mr. Hoosier, what a coincidence. My family was encouraged to leave your fine state back in the '20's by these white robed true patriots, the tea party of their day if you will. They were kind enough to help us pack and assist us in finding the correct route out of the area in their understandable eagerness to take back their country.They even had a large group of people assembled to send us off with loud shouts of encouragement and well-wishing and waving of things in the air and celebratory shots from firearms! We still argue over whether their conservative hospitality was encouraged by our Catholicism or our enhanced melanin content. No matter.
