The democrats were not expecting such a blood bath this election but the writing was on the wall. This means if Hillary runs in 2016 she has to dig herself out of a huge hole. America rejected Obama plain and simple and Hillary was part of the administration. Think about that.

    Dear Democrats,

I know how you feel, but consider this a lesson.

Honesty, Really is the best policy.

You will never achieve anything, by lying to the American people.

Now get up, dust yourselves off, and get a job.

    Sincerely,
    Me

How big and long were old Slick Willy's and Obama's coat tails? Not very long at all.
Leftists are left to rub their sore butts and mumble about republicans having no plans. Pathetic!

Nothing is President Obama's fault. He's already announced it was the fault of the map. It was a harmonic conversion of conservative states that nothing, not even His Highness, could defeat.

I heard Obama is going to make a speech this afternoon. Who knows, but I'm guessing he'll be first out of the gate with "I want to work with the new Congress...blah, blah, blah,, BUT....". He's said the same thing for years and allows adds the "BUT..I'm not budging or waiting on XYZ".
Bottom line, he won't change his agenda. He doesn't need to, because it never included working with Congress anyway. Pen and a phone, baby...pen and a phone.

The enragement in my book of faces is hilarious.... the big issue here is amendment 2 (medical pot) didn't pass here and all the stoners are all dishonestly saying "you must not care about cancer patients if you voted against Amendment 2"

Umm, the results were pretty much predicted for months now, you seem to have not kept up with current events if you believe otherwise.

    MOD EDIT - OFf Topic

No way! The Democrats won big last night. Yes, I went to bed early and just logged in, but DailyKos and MediaMatters told me that Democrats would win and win big. Harry Reid is here to stay! Right!?

Anyone freaking out about these election results have been in denial the past few months.

Let's hope these Republicans are as good at legislating as they are at not legislating.

Now the Rs can show their governing chops, rather then spewing rhetoric.

Hopefully they don't drop the ball....

They won't be. They better have fun while it lasts. They'll screw everything up like they always do and be out in 2016. They're very good at that.

    - - - Updated - - -

I predict they drop the ball today. They won't wait long.

Democrats are just as good at it.

Both parties are incompetent. Well, they are very competent at their purpose...maintaining their relevance. They both just suck for the country.

Can't wait to see the new Senate majority leader dusting off 4 years of bills collecting dust in Harry the Obstructionist's old desk.

Wrong, Democrats at least do something, while Republicans do nothing. Well, that's not entirely correct. The Republicans are very good at enriching their already rich pals, while screwing everyone else.

    - - - Updated - - -

They'll just get vetoed, so have fun.

I'm seeing some media sensationalism, but nobodies "freaking out."

This has been predicted for months now. You would think after all the times you guys have posted about it you'd know that.

Go ahead, let Obama veto bill after bill aimed at improving the economy, that have been sitting on the true Obstructionist's desk. That will do wonders for the next Democratic Presidential candidate in 2016.

I have but one question for you:

    - Precisely delineate the reason WHY America has "rejected Obama plain and simple."

Can you do that here on this forum? The reason I ask, is because I have never seen a single, articulate, detailed explanation for why anyone in America, would "reject Obama plain and simple" as President of the United States. But, to the contrary, what I have heard for the past 6+ years are political operatives and hateful people, declaring irrational lie after irrational lie after lie about Obama and what he has done as President, to the point of absolutely insanity.

Divisive political operatives and congressional obstructionists who from the very first day Obama was elected wanted to see him "fail" (Mitch McConnell's own words straight from his mouth, not mine), are the very same people who plotted and planned their political strategy from a Steakhouse restaurant in Washington, D.C., not seven (7) blocks from where Obama was being inaugurated to block, obstruct, deny, discredit, foil, deride and otherwise scuttle and tarnish the public opinion and reputation of President Barack Obama. This plan was put into action immediately after Obama moved into the White House and everyone in Congress knew about the plan.

Yet, Americans, "rejected Obama plain and simple" - without doing their homework about what Obama has actually done, without knowing one wit about how our national economic model works, without a clue about the previous eight [8] years of total domestic policy abuse which catalyzed the Great Recession, without having read one single major Economic or Fiscal Report from BLS, BEA, FED, OMB or GAO prior to Obama's election and/or during Obama's term in office (if they had they would know better than to reject Obama's policies) and without ever once asking themselves how on earth could those responsible for eight [8] years of war for oil, high gas prices at the pump, record low unemployment and the Great Recession itself, would somehow be the very same people that should be put back into office.

Once again - I welcome you to post something (anything) that is NOT A PROVEN LIE and that demonstrates the reason WHY Americans should have "rejected Obama plain and simple."

Just look at this forum. Look at the posts for the past 6 years by the right wing in here. You won't find one rational post. No matter what good news there has been, they complained for no reason. It's disgusting and anti-American. Get ready for more. They are getting ready to completely and utterly destroy this country and turn it into a theocracy or worse. They could not quite get there under Bush, so they'll try harder now.

Once they completely gut the middle class, they'll use religion to keep everyone in line. Think I'm lying? Just watch.

No they won't. Obama and his Democrat supporters have been complaining about obstructionism for 4 years. You're not suggesting they are suddenly going to start obstructing Congress, are you? Wouldn't that make them giant hypocrites?
