NBC’s Brian Williams recants Iraq story after soldiers protest

Another nail in the coffin for NBC.

 

Liberals defend liars like Dan Rather and Obama all the time. Those lies further their agenda, so it is good to lie to infidels. So muslim like don't you think?

Williams is a disgusting piece of fecal matter like a "phony soldier", but what makes him worse than a phony soldier is, he has a national platform to push that lie.

 

You would slowly shut down MSNBC with that. But Fox would be gone by lunch time, and all of the right wing blogs would be gone by the next day!

 

Birds of a feather stick together. Lying liberals like Rather and Williams are the reason the MSM has become a joke.

The hyperliberal Left's hallmark is the ability to LIE, for whatever reason, even if there's no real reason for it at all.

They lie about nearly everything from Obamacare to person exploits. IMHO, it all grows out of an innate desire in all socialists to control and manipulate what others believe, and to change the behavior of "the masses" -- as we see with the deceitful campaigns promoting "global warming", etc.

In any event, it's no skin off my nose. I never watch any of the agit-prop crap on any of the hyperlib network "news" channels, and haven't for years!

I have no idea what Jeb Bush said or didn't say. But it does appear Brian
Williams claimed he misremembered being in a helicopter that was fired upon and then took an emergency landing. How does one admittedly misremember that?

 

I would prefer that. My ideal for Media reform has been to make it a State-Centric media.(That is to say, an independent media that will only report on the affairs of the State, from the observational perspective of what's actually occurring. Without bias). The "MSM" is not Mainstream due to actually reporting on the news as it happens, but rather reporting from the news from a false(and deliberate) narrative.

We then take this narrative and substitute it for what's really happening. We therefore see the world in a lens quite far apart from actual reality. This is why for example, when we look at crimes happening being reported by major media we wonder "If it's some right-wing extremist"(or another) instead of wondering where the crime is taking place and if it's a dangerous neighborhood to live in.

Or more importantly, informing our kids of why this kind of crime is wrong and should never participate in criminal acts. In short, a real media outlet would not force a narrative on you but would allow you to come to your own conclusion. The MSM has dulled American Critical Thinking and therefore has made us docile to political propaganda via the political channels.

What is it about liberals and fake war stories? Hillary is dodging sniper fire. Brian Williams is taking on RPG's. Heck, when Dick Blumenthal was running for senate in my home state it was exposed that he had been lying about fighting in Vietnam for years. It's bizarre.

Of all of them I think Hillary's is the biggest whopper. Did she really think we would buy that the secret service would allow the First Lady of the United States to land a chopper under sniper fire??

It's their attempt to appeal to more conservative people than themselves. They know that almost everybody except the left respects soldiers and the military, so it's their way of trying to gain favor.

Brian Williams should be required to trade his cushy NBC healthcare plan for getting his heathcare solely from the VA.

There, he will see the real and true damage from taking fire in a chopper.

I went to nbc.com, clicked Contact Us, selected Nightly News w/Brian Williams, and sent them an email, basically telling them my viewing is limited since I don't have cable, and now with this Williams fog crap, my viewing selection just got more limited. I told them unless they fire him, I won't watch any NBC show again. That's not particularly difficult since I can't think of a single NBC show that's on my "must watch" list. I don't watch NBC local news, either, so for me, it's no big loss, but in the cut-throat network TV world, every viewer matters.

 

He wanted to look like a bad ass who kept on reporting even after taking fire. It happens. People embellish stories to make them seem more interesting. It's not a criminal offense.

 

Simple - if you have a simple mind - Bran was so traumatized by his compassion for the people who were of the chopper that he could see it happening in his mind and he imagined that it was him. This happens to liberal all the time. It doesn't have to be a bad thing either. A lot of our walking around liberals really think that they have had sex with every woman in their office when in fact they are 20 to 60 year old virgins. That is why they advocate for casual and immoral sex.

This doesn't change my opinion of NBC at all.
