You know in the general I have voted third party in 5 out of the last 6 presidential elections. I am plain tired of voting for the lesser of two evils or the least worst candidate. Even if the least worst candidate wins, you still end up with a bad president.

His top economic adviser, Karl Marx, is almost as old as he is.

And you're not embarrassed to admit that you no nothing of Senator Sander's stances on the issues by posting this tripe?

He's a sacrificial lamb put forth by the Democrat party to satisfy the radical left. he has no chance of defeating Hillary who is the party nominee.

His political days are over given his age so he is an easy choice to prop up and for the Democrat party to tout that they had a challenger for Hillary.

I say kudos to Bernie for taking one for his Democrat team. He is a loyal Democrat.

I know he's for a FTT. That's enough for me to be against him. Who knows what he wants the top income tax rate to be? Wouldn't be shocked if it were north of 50%. I do give him credit for being honest and admitting he's a socialist. He has way more integrity than Shillary.

Nope..this was Sander's decision and I already explained his motive...which is a noble one. He has been frustrated that the REAL issues plaguing this country and threatening democracy are not being discussed. He knows that only by throwing his hat into the ring will he get the large platform he needs. It's that simple.

A recent quote from our resident 'Democratic' Socialist:
“What it means is that we have a lot to learn from democratic socialist governments that have existed in countries like Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, where all people have healthcare as a right,” Sanders explained when asked by O’Reilly what it means to be a socialist. “Where higher education is free. Where they have strong childcare program. Where they don’t have the massive type of income and wealth inequality that we have in the United States of America.”

In Sanders’ socialist America, the tax rate on America’s wealthy “will be more than it is right now,” though Sanders refused to specify exactly how much higher.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

In other words, Sander's idea of Utopia is quite different from the model of democracy that our founding fathers envisioned. He wants a Nordic-style welfare state. He would tear down the Constitution as we know it if he had the chance. Big government would rule every aspect of our lives...just like ultra-liberals have always dreamed of.

As I stated a few post back...Sanders is not in it to win it. And comparing Senator Sanders to a crackpot like Akin is what is actually moronic.

You are not embarrassed that you posted 'no knothing'?

Honestly, Sanders is a socialist and that is enough for decent Americans to reject his bid.

Oh, he is a decent man, but so was Carter.

Without labels but references to his expressed politics,

would someone please describe how a Senator from Vermont

can be Socialist, Left Leaning, Marxist, etc.

I am reading labels on Yahoo News too, but no substance.
Methinks Media, Inc - run by the plutocrats, is already undermining Bernie with labeling.

    So what gives, really.
And due to my dyslexia, not big, big copy / paste performances.

THANK GOD! I thought for sure we were gonna be stuck with the Republican lite Hillary. Now we finally have an anti-Hillary with a good fighting chance, unlike Jim Webb, who is decent, but hopelessly uninspiring.

    Bring it on Dem establishment!

Oh gosh. Me neither. Rand Paul peaked my interest at one point, but his constant pandering and flip flopping has turned me away. The rest of the Republicans are just downright crackpots, lets be honest. Hillary Clinton will definitely not be getting my vote either, so I am really hoping Bernie Sanders comes through, or Jim Webb. Barring a major party candidate I can vote for without dry heaving, I will probably go Libertarian, as they are my usual backup (most of my votes cast in 2014 and 2015 were for Libertarians, as well as my 2012 vote for President), seeing as they are the only third party I can reasonably see breaking major party status in the near future. Unless they put Feldman up (whom I am strongly against because he has no political experience whatsoever, and it shows in his purist, rigid talking points) instead of Gary Johnson, then I have no clue what I will be doing. Perhaps Green, I hear Jill Stein is a shoe-in again.

I will vote for him over Hillary if he stays in the race long enough for me to do so.

Me too during the primaries; just to help scuttle Hillary's chances. Then at the end of the presidential contest I will vote for whatever GOPer is running.

If Sanders gets the nomination the GOP is screwed. People want change, and there is nobody who will bring more change than Bernie. It would be great if it were Bernie v. Rand though--a real barn burner

Here in Georgia we usually have the Libertarians and the Constitutional Party on the ballot besides the monopoly two. The Green Party didn't have a candidate in 2012. Things are way too much in flux at this point in time. There has been a couple of elections I had no idea whom I was going to vote for as I walked into the booth. Other times I had my mind made up 6 months to a year ahead of time.

Perot got my votes in 92 and 96 and since then the Libertarian candidate's received my votes when I couldn't stomach the choices the monopoly parties offered. But until the Libertarian's start voting for their own parties candidate instead of the lesser of two evils from the monopoly parties, there is no way they can become a viable third party.

The AJC had a poll here in Georgia a year or two ago. 10% of the electorate identified themselves as Libertarian, but their candidates usually get between 2-5% of the vote come election day.

    no kidding

he's in it because the DNC felt that given the recent events around Hillary that she could no longer run unopposed. Bernie is taking one for the Democrat team and as I've said, I'd love to know what he's been promised to do this. No Democrat would give up power and be brushed aside unless there was a pay day.

The socialist won't win, but he will push Hillary even further left.

It looks like a fun primary season.

Oh yea, this will be a good one. I can't wait for that idiot Al Franken to join in the race as well. And if we are lucky, the big fat liar Elizabeth Warren will run also.

With the list of losers the Republicans are running, if the Democrats follow suit with their morons, it will be entertaining if nothing else. The down side is one of these scumbags will end up running the country.

I hope it comes to Sanders Vs Rand. Both are in favor of keeping the government out of personal lives, so I benefit either way on that front. Sanders also has excellent econsonic policies, so he has my support there.

I can either get half of what I want it all of it if it's Sanders Vs Rand.
