Here in the United States most see your president, and by extension the country as overly aggressive and mentally oppressed by the state. The recent attempts at invasion and land grabs do not present a picture most here find remotely pleasant. We here in this political forum have also seen an influx of Russian Propaganda tools that deny their obvious intent, and try to come off as being from here or other western European counties as if we are ignorant enough to accept it...rather insulting. Just so you understand what you may be dealing with here....welcome to the boards.
Correct, Putin uses the "kremlin army", or his "paid information providers", as a desperate means to change the views of Russia by means of online forums. Quite pathetic.
Of course, I can't answer for all Russian users, but I can answer for myself. I too bad know English, to be "the employed Kremlin troll". And especially, I dare to hope, my way of communication is far from trolling. Just as wrote above, means of electronic transfer today reached a level where I can understand quite well that to me is trying to convey. Can't know how clear it is an electronic translation of my speech in English, but given yesterday's experience, seems to me to understand too. Just a year or two ago this level was still unattainable. As for my political views — I something average between meritokraty and tekhnoanarkhisty. I do not like the political system neither in Russia, nor in the United States and Europe. But even more I don't like it when someone starts to distort the facts and said he better seen that happening at someone else's person in the House. In this case, I try to take the opposite side. Therefore my nickname was also chosen such, already more than 12 years ago. I am on the side of fairness. Welcome. I've had some wonderful discussions with people here. Be careful as many of the people here are Americans and Europeans with an ill will towards Russia, given the situation. However, I actually as an American, agree with Russia's stand point.
