David.... what do you think of the idea of the Jewish land Sabbath fitting with the vision of the future that was shown to Howard Storm during his NDE?

I think there is a definite connection here. I believe that if humanity is to survive, we will somehow need to get back to a much more simple, far less hectic and truly relaxed lifestyle involving a return to nature. I pray and hope that the positive aspects of the future shown to Howard Storm in his NDE (as summarized in the excerpts from his story in your email below) will in fact become a reality. When people learn through the power of prayer to grow plants bearing large fruits and vegetables in a manner much faster than the current growing season of several months, it will indeed be possible to grow more food on far less land, thus enabling the Jewish land Sabbath to become a reality. This will also make possible the permanent restoration and preservation of large areas of forest, which will help restore the health of our planet. However, I believe this will only be possible when people realize that their lives are eternal and begin living their lives accordingly with unconditional Agape love toward each other and lives of service. I believe that when enough people do this, God will grant us the gift of growing plants and vegetable gardens through the power of prayer. The many NDE stories can be used to show people that eternal life is not a myth, but a reality based in sound science. When people truly know and believe that they live forever, they will structure their lives accordingly and focus on loving their neighbors instead of focusing just on self. God's Peace Plan is a very important part of this evolutionary process, for it gives humanity a practical way of implementing what is taught by God, Jesus Christ and the Angels in the NDEs. The image of the future that they gave me then, and it was their image, not one that I created, surprised me. My image had previously been sort of like Star Wars, where everything was space age, plastics, and technology.

The future that they showed me was almost no technology at all. What everybody, absolutely everybody, in this euphoric future spent most of their time doing was raising children. The chief concern of people was children, and everybody considered children to be the most precious commodity in the world.

And when a person became an adult, there was no sense of anxiety, nor hatred, nor competition.

There was this enormous sense of trust and mutual respect. If a person, in this view of the future, became disturbed, then the community of people all cared about the disturbed person falling away from the harmony of the group. Spiritually, through prayer and love, the others would elevate the afflicted person.

What people did with the rest of their time was that they gardened, with almost no physical effort. They showed me that plants, with prayer, would produce huge fruits and vegetables.

Answer:

The Talmud asks why the human race was created as a single human being, as opposed to creating many people at once (like the animals which were created en masse1 )?

This teaches us that just as Adam was created in the beginning, and he was the entire human population of the world, likewise we need to look at each individual as if he/she were the entire population of the world. Therefore, when you save one life it is as if you saved the entire world.

When I first read the peace plan, I was immediately concerned by what I thought to be a problem: Wouldn't Israel be placing itself in jeopardy by giving up that much land to Palestinians?

Hadn't Israel just discovered a tremendous network of tunnels beneath Gaza?

Might not more of the same exist beneath parts of the West Bank, too?

How does this peace plan benefit Israeli Jews? So, I wrote a letter to the author and here's his reply:

Hi Dennis.

You're wrong when you say that I'm trying to make Israel give up land. The united army of the new, united state of Israel (composed of both Israelis & Palestinians) will continue to have a presence in the West Bank--and Gaza--but the difference will be that it won't be perceived as being an occupying army. No land is lost from a security perspective. What changes is the civilian population and civilian use of that land.

The reason you're giving for Israel to have settlers in the land is for security purposes. Israel's security is threatened both within and without. Were Israel to sit back and do nothing, Abbas and the PA would continue their push in the UN, and as Great Britain, Sweden, and Spain are demonstrating, the most trusted bastions of international support for Israel are eroding. Again, were Israel to sit idly by and do nothing, the PA will inevitably have tremendous international backing--to the point of military backing--which would completely undermine Jewish Israelis' security.

However, MT. 24 says that Israel isn't going to sit idly by. Israel re-invading the West Bank has been a fear of the PA since the second Intifada, but over the long years of continued expansion of Israeli settlements, the point has been reached where the PA is throwing caution to the winds, as there comes a time when so much has been lost one may as well pull a Masada.

And that will precipitate Mt 24. The PA going to the UN Security Council with a demand Israel leave the West Bank by the end of October? Abbas calling upon Palestinians to defend Al-Aqsa, where "defend" means keeping any Jewish people off the Temple Mount? Even if they're not allowed to pray? Both parties are spoiling for a fight.

Their only salvation is going to come from God. The same God whose timing and decrees you'd rather bypass because you don't have faith that God is in control, and that God's word has the power to heal the divide between the peoples?

The threat to the Jewish people is first and foremost a collective condition of the mindsets of Palestinians, then Muslims, and lastly, the wider world. An antagonistic mindset translates itself thru weaponry and physical action into a threat on the physical plane.

Countering only the physical aspect of the threat is a temporary solution, at best, and if that temporary solution increases the depth of antagonism further as well as making it more widespread, then nothing good is accomplished.

God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land handles both elements of the threat to perfection. It does this through providing full justice according to the Qur'an for Palestinians and by providing full justice for Jews through the Torah & Prophets. Each group has a homeland where their culture is maintained, and Jerusalem is shared.

It meets the present physical threat posed to Israelis by Palestinians by removing the immediate trigger to said threat--i.e., settlements of one clan of a tribe in the land of another clan of the same tribe. At the same time, it maintains the necessary physical presence of Israeli military personnel, which as your mention of tunnels serves as an example, is vital in the short term, at the least. It's going to take a while before both clans of Israelites fully trusts each other. If it were only a case where Israeli Jewish troops were deployed along with Palestinians in the West Bank, i.e., Ephraim, it would be imbalanced and Palestinians would view this as an occupation. However, Palestinian members of the new united army would also be able to observe what is going on over in Judah, so this will undercuts the pretext for Palestinians to rebel from a religious or other moral basis. Thus, peace wins the ideological war.

At the same time, wherever the peace plan travels, everyone who comes in contact with it learns that both groups are indigenous, which will rapidly cut off international support for the extreme policies of either party. Neither side will be able to transgress without encountering opposition from a united humanity. This is very important. It's the mistaken idea that outsiders have that one group or the other is the sole, rightful, occupants of the Holy Land that compels people to support one side or the other. The world's patience will be quickly exhausted by whichever side continues this nonsense.

At the same time, re-education will mean that children will be learning co-existence. Any party which wants good relations with international entities will have to go along with this or become a pariah.

Most importantly (IMHO), this is all done in full accordance with the Guidance anyone can find in these ancient sacred texts. It's beyond people arguing their opinions endlessly while the world burns. It's right there in print! Has been for centuries. God created us. God has the Answer." (Robert Mendelson)

I just got an interesting update on God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land:

ISRAEL'S CHOICES

We are all used to the cycle of violence and retribution in the Holy Land. We either shrug our collective shoulders and ignore it, or raise our voices in partisan support for one side or the other. However, this time, things have crossed a tipping point. It will no longer remain a local conflict, but will affect the entire world. While this crisis threatens everyone, it also presents the opportunity for fashioning a lasting peace.

The current problem is this: more and more countries are recognizing the Palestinian state. Israel's government is in chaos, and relations with its key ally, the US are deteriorating. "Liberal" Jews everywhere are sympathizing with the suffering of the Palestinians, and withdrawing support from Israel, which is seen as a cruel aggressor. Even "neutral" Christians, eg the American Friends Service Committee, are calling for a boycott of some Israeli goods. With the international community turning against it, Israel's focus becomes survival. The precedent of pre-emptive war was set in 1967.

Any workable solution is going to have to address fundamental concerns for both partiesIsraelis and Palestinians alike. But for this article, the focus will be on Israel's perceptions. This understanding should help all concerned, everyone on the planet, to turn the current crisis around with a peaceful outcome.

What are Israel's choices?

1) The two state solution- Pressure is being put on Israel, from inside and outside the country, to accept the Palestinian state and work with the new situation. This option is unacceptable to Israel, since Hamas, a key political party of Palestine, wants all Jews out of the area, and wants the state of Israel to disappear. The two state solution also leaves the area of Jerusalem which is holiest to Jews, the site of the second Temple, under the control of people who have been their enemy, and denied them the right to worship there in the past.

With European and other nations shifting to support Palestine, how can Israel trust any outside nation to guarantee its security, especially in light of past painful history? Without trustworthy external guarantees, Israel will have to monitor the West Bank itself, continuing to act as an occupation army. It's a formula for endless war.

2) The one state solution- The two states would merge, with full citizenship for both Israelis and Palestinians. This option is also unacceptable to Israel, as Jews would be outnumbered, and might find themselves outvoted and at the mercy of their enemies.

In order to understand why these two options are ruled out by most Israelis, it's helpful to recall some history.

Israel was founded in 1948, in the wake of the Nazi Holocaust, as a homeland for the Jews. Their ancestors had been expelled from the Holy Land by the Romans 1800 years earlier, and scattered in the Diaspora, but Jews never stopped praying to return to Jerusalem.

Over the ensuing centuries, the Diaspora Jews often experienced ongoing persecution from Muslims and Christians alike. They were not allowed to own land, sometimes they had to wear yellow robes or stars, and time after time they were expelled from many countries, and their assets confiscated. The Inquisition forced them to recant Judaism or else be burned at the stake.

Hitler's ethnic cleansing was the culmination of two millenia of implacable anti-semitism. Not only did Hitler attempt to systematically exterminate every Jew in each nation he conquered, but those who escaped found themselves rebuffed by the free nations of Europe. Some made it to the US, South Africa, South America; many went back to the Holy Land, for which they had been yearning during the long Diaspora.

The centuries of persecution built into the Jewish psyche a strong sense of tribal identity, and a suspiciousness of non-Jews. "NEVER AGAIN" was the cry of the Jews who finally reclaimed their own nation in 1948.

Embattled from the beginning, the new state of Israel was immediately attacked by its Arab neighbors. None of the surrounding states recognized Israel for 30 years. In 1979, Egypt under Anwar El-Sadat signed a peace treaty with its northern neighbor. Sadat was assassinated a couple of years later.

Israel has survived so far by fighting constant wars, expanding its territory, and maintaining one of the most formidable arsenals in the world. With somewhere between 100 and 400 nuclear weapons, Israel could wipe out every major city on the planet. Since it never signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), it is not subject to inspection and sanctions, unlike Iran, which IS a signatory to the NPT. Thus Israel holds the world at bay.

3) This brings us to the Samson Option

Strategically, Israel's long-range missiles, nuclear capable aircraft, and possibly its submarines present an effective second strike deterrence against unconventional and conventional attack, and if Israel's defences fail and its population centres be threatened, the Samson Option, an all-out attack against an adversary, would be employed. Its nuclear arsenal can also be used tactically.

What is the Samson Option?

Samson was an Israelite hero who was the sworn enemy of a people called the Philistines. They captured Samson, tortured and blinded him, and then brought him to their temple to put him on display.

Judges 16: 29

Then Samson reached toward the two central pillars on which the temple stood. Bracing himself against them, his right hand on the one and his left hand on the other, 30 Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines! Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.

If Israel faces defeat, it will feel betrayed by its former supporters in Europe and the US, whom it counted on to guarantee Israel's right to exist. The memory of the Holocaust, and the refusal of the international community to help save Jews during World War II, is still fresh. Israel has the ability to destroy life on earth with its nuclear weapons. Like Samson, it could bring the whole world down with it.

The Samson option is implicit in Israeli defense. Service in the Israeli Defense Force is mandatory for both men and women. As they are inducted, they take their emblematic oath at Masada, the rocky fortress perched on a mountain overlooking the Dead Sea.

In 72 AD the Romans laid siege to Masada, whose 800 defenders held out for months. The Roman historian Josephus writes that when the Romans finally broke the siege, all the defenders had burned the buildings, then committed mass suicide. The will to die rather than surrender is strong in the Israeli psyche. The Samson option is a real possibility. Thus, the entire world has a stake in making peace In the Holy Land.

Right now, in late 2014, Israel's back is to the wall. Hamas and the Palestinian Authority have joined forces in the new Palestinian state. Israel is more and more isolated, especially after the fighting and devastation in Gaza last summer. Furthermore, nation after nationincluding European statesare recognizing Palestine as a separate state.

At this point, Israelis who support the present government are being offered the one state solution or the two state solution by Palestinians and outsiders. Either option would leave them vulnerable to almost certain retaliation for their past painful policies toward Palestinians. Israel is responding belligerently, by pushing for more and more new settlements in East Jerusalem. This, in turn, further radicalizes Palestinians. The likelihood of a third intifada looms, which could lead to all-out war.

If war breaks out, is the international community likely to steer clear of the crisis as it has in the past? This past year, Russia has steadfastly supported Assad in Syria and stood up to the West by invading Crimea and supporting a proxy war in the rest of Ukraine. Will Russia sit by idly as Israel crushes the Palestinians in the West Bank? What about China, which is trying to expand its influence in the Middle East and Africa? And if faced with international opposition backed by military force, what can Israel do that will guarantee the security of her people?

The Samson option seems more and more likely. What is the alternative?
4) Option 4- There IS a peaceful alternative. It should be acceptable to all sides, as it is based on the deepest spiritual beliefs of all the people in the region. It is called God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land, and is derived from the sacred books indigenous to the area: the Old and New Testaments of the Bible and the Qur'an.

Even though religion may not be the only cause of the dispute in the Holy Land, religion and scripture play a major role in the politics of the Middle East. Many believers consider scripture as the Word of God, and use it to guide their actions towards other peoples.

The dispute over the Temple Mount, a holy site to both Jews and Muslims, is a good
example. Another is the misuse of the Qu'ran by the group called ISIS. A peaceful solution can only work if its authority comes not from politicians, but from the ultimate Authority respected by many people in the region.

A key example of how scripture influences the politics of the region is the Israeli claim to the land. This claim is based on a Biblical prophecy, made about 4000 years ago, which set up the situation in the Holy Land today.

Genesis 17:3-4

When Abram prostrated himself, God spoke to him:
My covenant with you is this:
you are to become the father of a host of nations.
No longer shall you be called Abram;
your name shall be Abraham,
for I am making you the father of a host of nations.

Jews, Christians and Muslims, all spiritual descendants of Abraham, make up 2/3 of the world's population today. The prophecy has clearly been fulfilled. The passage continues:

Genesis 17: 9

I will give to you
and to your descendants after you
the land in which you are now staying,
the whole land of Canaan (now Israel/Palestine), as a permanent possession;
and I will be their God.

While religion may not be the immediate cause of the dispute in the Holy Land, it must be addressed. The leadership of both peoples use religion to justify their positions. Only a solution which satisfies both religious and secular people can bring finally bring peace to that long-troubled region.

God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land http://godspeaceplan.org/ relies upon history, common sense, morality, and the scriptures of all three religions to show that 1) Ashkenazi Jews are descended by blood from the early Israelites, and inherit the portion of land given to Judah; 2) Palestinians are descended by blood from the early Israelites and inherit the portion of land given to Ephraim; 3) These portions correspond roughly to the pre-1967 war borders occupied by each group; 4) peace will come about when each tribal area becomes a substate of a new country, with the shared capital of Jerusalem.

Surely believers who respect their scriptures as the Word of God, of whom there are many on all sides of the Holy Land issues, will pay attention to God's Peace Plan. With support for the plan from believers on both sides, it will be politically acceptable for leadership to compromise. The solution make sense from a secular point of view, and is just and fair to both Israelis and Palestinians.

God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land shows that both peoples are truly indigenous to the area, and both are worthy of international support to guarantee their sovereignty and security. The new country, with its two tribal areas, would be at peace internally and with its neighbors. It would have no need of nuclear weapons, and by dismantling them, could lead the way to world peace.

We are all threatened by Israel's nuclear weapons. We all need peace in the Holy Land, but it must be a peace that both sides can accept with a sense of security. I do believe that the author of God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land has gotten into some core issues that also need to be addressed.

Here is another update from him:

Pretend for a moment that a Zionist settler and a Hamas fighter are marooned together on an island.

Probably not, although they might invent a reason to do so.

My point is this: it's the stories people are taught or learned thru personal experience that form
peoples' attitudes. The saying, "No Justice - No Peace", when applied to the stories each group teaches
their children, virtually guarantees the conflict will go on perpetually and/or until they cause a nuclear war
that wipes out all of us. Chapters 2 & 3 provide the basis for teaching true stories to the children, bringing out the parts that parents and society found convenient to hide and deny, kind of like how history is taught in the States. Chapters 2 & 3 not only rely on history, but also do it in a manner that connects with the cultural roots of each people.

This isn't the only peace plan that proposes One Nation / Two Sub-states / Share Jerusalem. But, if that's all there is to a peace plan: "You get this and I get that", but leave either or both parties feeling they've been cheated--that "peace" ain't going to last. Getting the whole truth out--and doing so in front of the whole world--that should be enough to get people to stop teaching slanted stories that continually promote war, and also convince outsiders not to let either group get away with their shenanigans."

Now I am on a very different page…… as you know. I consider the Books of Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel to be almost like concepts for an epic series of reality films…… produced by……. you guessed it…… The G-d of Abraham/ HaShem/ YHWH.

I believe that G-d's reputation depend on H-s/ H-r ability….. to work out world events in such a way that they fit with these books………… even in multiple time lines….. where the timing of significant events can be quite different?!

Three days mark the 5th anniversary of the murder of Yasser Arafat, and bring back to me our last conversation at his Ramallah compound, a few weeks before his death.
It was he who brought up the idea of a threefold federation Israel, Palestine and Jordan. "And perhaps Lebanon, too. Why not?" the same as he did at our very first meeting, in Beirut, July 1982, in the middle of the war. He mentioned Benelux, the pact between Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg that predated the European Union.
Lately, the term "federation" has come into fashion again. Some people believe that it can serve as a kind of compromise between the "two-state solution," now a world-wide consensus, and the "one-state solution" that is popular in some radical circles. "Federation" sounds like a miracle: there will be both "two states for two peoples" and a single entity. Two in one, one in two.
The word "federation" does not frighten me. On the contrary, I was already using it in this context 52 years ago.

I have got to find his film about how simply getting farms to NOT burn the stocks from the previous year's crop….. but instead use them as a mulch that holds in water…… can profoundly alter how we view the possibility of turning deserts green.

Let me state that as matters stand now, what you wrote appears to be factual, but many times we limit our full array of possibilities by narrowing our perspective and omitting other alternatives. In this case, I would argue that we couldobtain greater crop yields, avoid damaging droughts, and feed a growing world population by a reversal of desertification. One likely scenario would be to increase agricultural land in arid regions through desalinization, preferably using solar technology for distillation. With global warming--or climate change, if you prefer--we have rising sea levels, which endanger coastal regions (such as Delaware), not to mention completely eliminating homelands of Pacific islanders, Bangla Deshi,and many others.

Carefully thought out desalinization carried out on a massive scale would have the effect of taking this excess water and placing it on arid regions. The pumping stations for such a solution would also be able to be fully powered by solar technology. Transferring the increased supply of salt water into fresh water on arid regions would be drought-proof, and at the same time save immense funds that will be needed to relocate vast populations to higher ground, and/or build higher and higher dike systems. The arid areas receiving this water could easily be planted with both crops as well as forests, which in turn would serve to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere, and reverse global warming over time.

Btw, if you are familiar with prophecy from the Bible and other sacred traditions, you'd find that well-watered, blooming deserts are a shared elements of prophecy.
In ther words, potential harm associated with GMOs and pesticides can be avoided by a solution that simultaneously feeds the world as it reverses global warming.

Perhaps this alternative is worthy of discussion with other members of Congress.

Former atheist and near death experiencer Howard Storm asked about the holocaust during his out of the body experience.

The answer he got was interesting..... and at least somewhat encouraging.

I read the condensed version of it....... about fifty pages... and it corresponded quite well with what Mr. Robert Mendelson was shown.

I believe that the trial of Pope Francis by the Sanhedrin makes "God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land" all the more necessary at this time.

I met Pastor Mitri Raheb at your event in Fort Collins. I was very impressed with his calm and peaceful way of speaking about such a difficult situation and his efforts to build in the face of despair. He is a true visionary and saint! I wished to share with him and your community this letter i recently wrote to Christian Zionist leaders in America:

URGENT APPEAL TO CHRISTIAN ZIONIST LEADERS This article asks John Hagee and his associates not to ostracize Messianic Jewish believers in Jesus and to deal more fairly with Palestinians.

I also thought your students were very winsome and talented artists.

The executive director Rana spoke very eloquently and passionately about her vision for a restored Palestinian nation. I was very moved by her recounting her father's suffering at an Israeli checkpost and their commandeering his hotel in Bethlehem. May God console and heal her heart soon. I had a couple of thoughts about your presentation that I'd like to share with you. I hope they will prove helpful to your cause.

My first thought concerns the name "Palestine" itself. In American evangelical circles, which are marked by a strong Judaizing tendency (by that I mean a desire to return to Old Testament types and symbols), Palestine carries a very negative connotation. It reminds us of the name imposed by Rome upon a region that had caused Rome much grief due to violent rebellions such as those that preceded the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem and the Bar-Kochba revolt in 135 AD. "Palestine" represents an attempt by Rome to extirpate the Israelite identity of the Holy Land.

Furthermore, in my experience as a Jewish believer in Jesus, Zionist groups try to delegitimize the Palestinian presence in the Holy Land, either by utilizing Golda Meir's famous lie about

A Land without a People for a People without a Land

or by claiming that most indigenous Palestinians migrated to the Holy Land in the late 19th and early 20th centuries following Zionist resettlement efforts there.

These arguments make American Christians very unsympathetic to the Palestinian cause, since they believe God wishes to restore a Jewish State in the Holy Land and that whoever else was there before that time has no Divine Rights or Sanction.

I think the Israelis are winning the "public relations" war with the Palestinians. They utilize a rhetoric that captures the hearts and emotions of the Christians whose support is so vital to the Zionist enterprise. See this book for example:

For all these reasons, I wonder if it is feasible to change the name of Palestine. My vision for that tortured region is that there would be one binational state called simply Jerusalem in English, Yerushalayim in Hebrew and perhaps Al Quds (The Holy) in Arabic. It is of interest that Ethiopian Jews who returned to Israel tended to call that land simply Jerusalem. Also Jewish
midrashim
state that in the Messianic Era the Holy Land will become entirely Jerusalem.

Until this vision transpires, perhaps the Palestinians could use another biblical name: Judea. I do not say this facetiously at all! If it is true that your people's roots go back to the time of Jesus, those of you from Bethlehem particularly have every right to identify with the ancient land of Judea. You are in fact true Judeans!

You would not have to call yourselves Jews, however, as Israel has usurped that title for itself. But significantly the early Zionist leaders rejected the name Judea in favor of Israel, leaving the way open for you to seize this name for yourselves.

It certainly would radically alter the rhetoric of the conflict if the global community could perceive that the Palestinians are actually the original Judeans. We would then have a conflict of two peoples, one that retained an altered Judean religion in exile and the other that retained its historic connection to the land of Judea through the centuries. This will take us right back to the Old Testament schism following the reign of King Solomon (Shlomo/ Suleiman) in which the Kingdom of Israel fractured into two rival kingdoms: the northern Israelite and the southern Judean.

It also would help people appreciate another aspect of the conflict, between Judaism and Christianity. For it would seem that the Palestinians are really Judeans who converted to Christianity, while Israelis are mainly Jews who rejected Christianity and recast the biblical faith as rabbinical Judaism.

My second point for your consideration concerns your use of the short film about the Moslem lady praying at Al Aksa mosque. I think this film is very bad PR for your cause, at least in America. Following 9-11 Americans have become very hostile to Islam. (I say this even though I personally am a 911 Truth Advocate who doesn't believe Moslems had any involvement with the 911 attacks.) Americans wish to aggressively confront Islam and to challenge its rejection of the key Christian beliefs that Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead.

And while I appreciate your desire to reach out to Palestinian Moslems and to include them in your school and community, Americans will not be sympathetic to the blurring of the lines you present between your own Lutheran Christian faith and your obvious sympathy for the Palestinian Moslems who are oppressed under Israeli occupation.

I state all this fully aware that Islam actually holds a much more favorable view of Jesus than does Judaism which continues to excoriate Him in the doctrinal teachings of Orthodox Judaism, which is the official state religion of Israel today. (Again, this is true despite the fact that many non-Orthodox Jews have developed a favorable attitude to Jesus.)

I once corresponded with a Syrian Christian who had a lot of sympathy for Islam. He told me that in the East, Christianity (usually Maronite Catholic or Greek Orthodox) reached an accommodation with Islam whereby each religion will respect the other and not try to evangelize to each other. Unfortunately American Christianity cannot respect this modus vivendi worked out over the centuries in your communities. The creation of Zionist Israel also signifies a new front in Christianity's confrontation with Islam and its efforts to evangelize Moslems. I think Palestinian Christians are thus caught in a very bad predicament, having to live shoulder to shoulder with your Moslem brothers and sisters and not able to take an aggressive evangelical approach to them due to the obvious dangers this would entail to you.

I cannot tell you how to work out this problem. All i wish to report to you here is that your films and comments expressing solidarity with Palestinian Moslems will not go over well in America and might in fact hurt your cause of mobilizing Western sympathy for the plight of your people.

In closing, I wish to say to all of you that I deeply admire your courage in the face of huge obstacles. Some bloggers say that the Palestinians today are like Jesus on the cross all over again. I think one can make a strong argument that Zionist Israel recapitulates Herod's Judea to America's recapitulation of the Roman Empire.

May God fortify your hearts with hope and love. I am certain that your ability to forgive the atrocities and bad behavior of Israel against your people will present a stunningly powerful testimony of the heart of Christ to those people who are still shadow boxing with the NAZIS and dont know how to forgive and move on.

Michael........ I would like to draw your attention to a writing by Dr. P. M. H. Atwater who after three near death experiences in 1977 claims to have became quite good at controlling the out of the body state. Numerous other individuals also had this ability which tends to verify her claim to have seen a fascinating event taking place in the minutes, hours and days after the September 11, attack.

One part of what she saw does a good job of warning all of us that if our religious beliefs encourage us to hate other groups of people so vehemently that we are willing to die in order to kill many of them, then even though those beliefs may be sincere, they can lead us to something quite different than the "paradise" that some religious leaders promise!

Dr. P. M. H. Atwater:..."I have helped at many tragedies and led numerous prayer vigils, but never have I seen anything quite like this. I came to realize that it was the accumulation of prayer, the power unleashed by millions of caring people all intent on a singular mission of mercy and compassion, that had enabled the souls who were part of this drama, all of them, to make the transition from living in an earthly body to existing “elsewhere” faster than what is typical. The younger of the two was in a state of utter disbelief as fire leapt toward him. He died screaming, “They lied to me.” (I heard him in English although what he spoke sounded Arabic to me and with a different word phrasing.)

The third man expected to die, and was convinced that he would ascend into a beautiful paradise upon his death. He welcomed the fireball with open arms, until the “heaven” of his expected reward turned out to be a nightmare. He, too, had believed a lie.
