circa 1865: German journalist and founder of the first news agency Paul Julius Reuter (1816 - 1899). ):
Nasir al-Din Shah, Shah of Iran from 1848-1896, sold Baron Julius de Reuter the right to operate all of Iran’s railroads and canals, most of the mines, all of the government’s forests, and all future industries. The famous British statesman Lord Curzon called it “the most complete and extraordinary surrender of the entire industrial resources of a kingdom into foreign hands that has probably ever been dreamed of.” Iranians were so infuriated that the Shah had to rescind the sale the next year.

Operation Ajax, in short, was when the CIA overthrew Muhammad Mossadeq’s democratic government in 1953 and reinstalled the Shah to the throne of Iran. In 1951, a British company (AIOC) had control of Iran’s oil fields. The Iranian people believed that their deal with the AIOC was unfairly benefitting the company and a political controversy ensued. A man named Muhammad Mossadeq, a member of Iranian parliament, demanded a renegotiation of the standing agreement and the Iranian people were quick to rally behind him and make him their honored leader. The previously ineffective parliament then became the primary government in the area, leaving the Shah, who had ruled as an authoritarian monarch powerless. Since Mossadeq was backed by the majority of the people in Iran, it appeared to be Iran’s first democratically elected leader.
the CIA staged a coup d’etat in Iran, headed by President Theodore Roosevelt’s grandson, Kermit Roosevelt. The purpose was to return the Shah to power through CIA engineered protests and bribery of Iranian officers. The first phase was unsuccessful and the Shah fled Tehran, fearful that his life was in danger for his participation in the attempted overthrow of Massadeq. The second phase was more successful, and enabled the Shah to victoriously return to Iran where he then had a 25-year dictatorship supported by the United States. However, this ruling also came with the Savak, a brutal and terrifying police force that angered many Iranians and ignited hatred towards the Americans. Although the people of Iran suspected CIA involvement, the U.S. government kept the coup d’etat a secret from the American people. Operation Ajax was considered a resounding success until 1979, when the Iranians revolted against the U.S. Embassy in what became known as the Iranian Hostage Crisis.
    http://www.coldwar.org/articles/50s/OperationAjax.asp

The BBC lent a hand to the CIA’s 1953 overthrow of Iran’s Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh
If the Reuters thing weren’t enough to give Iranians a grudge against the Western media, the BBC transmitted a secret code to help Kermit Roosevelt (Teddy’s grandson) lay the groundwork for an American and British coup against Mosaddegh. (BBC Persian also assisted by broadcasting pro-coup propaganda on the orders of the British government.) Soon enough the U.S. was training the regime’s secret police in how to interrogate Iranians with methods a CIA analyst said were “based on German torture techniques from World War II.”

SAVAK (Persian: ساواک, short for سازمان اطلاعات و امنیت کشور Sāzemān-e Ettelā'āt va Amniyat-e Keshvar, Organization of Intelligence and National Security) was the secret police, domestic security and intelligence service established by Iran's Mohammad Reza Shah with the help of the United States' Central Intelligence Agency (the CIA)
SAVAK has been described as Iran's "most hated and feared institution" prior to the revolution of 1979 because of its practice of torturing and executing opponents of the Pahlavi regime.

A U.S. Army colonel working for the CIA was sent to Persia in September 1953 to work with General Teymur Bakhtiar, who was appointed military governor of Tehran in December 1953 and immediately began to assemble the nucleus of a new intelligence organization.
In March 1955, the Army colonel was "replaced with a more permanent team of five career CIA officers, including specialists in covert operations, intelligence analysis, and counterintelligence, including Major General Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf who "trained virtually all of the first generation of SAVAK personnel."
SAVAK had the power to censor the media, screen applicants for government jobs, "and according to reliable Western source, use all means necessary, including torture, to hunt down dissidents". After 1963, the Shah expanded his security organizations, including SAVAK, which grew to over 5,300 full-time agents and a large but unknown number of part-time informers.

The new President of Iran has suggested that the country's famed 'Death to America' slogan be banned as the government has begun taking steps to re-establish relations with the West.
President Hassan Rouhani has been seen as a reformer in the eyes of many- especially since he had the landmark phone call with President Obama just weeks ago.
Now his mentor has publicly stated that the regular chants of 'Death to America' should be dropped, saying that the anger dating back to the capture of the American embassy in 1974 is not helping the country move forward.

United States support for Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War, against post-revolutionary Iran, included several billion dollars' worth of economic aid, the sale of dual-use technology, non-U.S. origin weaponry, military intelligence, Special Operations training, and direct involvement in warfare against Iran

the United States actively supported the Iraqi war effort by supplying the Iraqis with billions of dollars of credits, by providing U.S. military intelligence and advice to the Iraqis, and by closely monitoring third country arms sales to Iraq to make sure that Iraq had the military weaponry required. The United States also provided strategic operational advice to the Iraqis to better use their assets in combat... The CIA, including both CIA Director Casey and Deputy Director Gates, knew of, approved of, and assisted in the sale of non-U.S. origin military weapons, ammunition and vehicles to Iraq. My notes, memoranda and other documents in my NSC files show or tend to show that the CIA knew of, approved of, and assisted in the sale of non-U.S. origin military weapons, munitions and vehicles to Iraq

    Military training
Fort Bragg, home of Special Operations Forces.
Iraqi military personnel received various types of guidance from their American counterparts on U.S. soil. According to Roque Gonzalez, an ex-Special Forces officer with multilingual expertise, Saddam's elite troops received instruction in unconventional warfare at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Foreign Materiel Acquisition and Bear Spares
With the UN-imposed embargo on warring parties, and with the Soviet Union opposing the conflict, Iraqi engineers found it increasingly difficult to repair and replace hardware damaged in battle. According to Kenneth Timmerman, "Saddam did foresee one immediate consequence of his invasion of Iran: the suspension of arms supplies from the USSR."
The United States assisted Iraq through a military aid program known as "Bear Spares", whereby the U.S. military "made sure that spare parts and ammunition for Soviet or Soviet-style weaponry were available to countries which sought to reduce their dependence on the Soviets for defense needs." According to Howard Teicher's court sworn declaration:If the "Bear Spares" were manufactured outside the United States, then the U.S. could arrange for the provision of these weapons to a third country without direct involvement. Israel, for example, had a very large stockpile of Soviet weaponry and ammunition captured during its various wars. At the suggestion of the United States, the Israelis would transfer the spare parts and weapons to third countries... Similarly, Egypt manufactured weapons and spare parts from Soviet designs and provided these weapons and ammunition to the Iraqis and other countries
    Chemical and biological exports
On February 9, 1994, Senator Riegle delivered a report -commonly known at the Riegle Report- in which it was stated that "pathogenic (meaning 'disease producing'), toxigenic (meaning 'poisonous'), and other biological research materials were exported to Iraq pursuant to application and licensing by the U.S. Department of Commerce." It added: "These exported biological materials were not attenuated or weakened and were capable of reproduction."

The report then detailed 70 shipments (including Bacillus anthracis) from the United States to Iraqi government agencies over three years, concluding "It was later learned that these microorganisms exported by the United States were identical to those the UN inspectors found and recovered from the Iraqi biological warfare program."
    Diplomatic support
In 1984, Iran introduced a draft resolution to the United Nations Security Council, citing the Geneva Protocol of 1925, condemning Saddam Hussein's use of chemical weapons on the battlefield. In response, the United States instructed its delegate at the UN to lobby friendly representatives in support of a motion to take "no decision" on the use of chemical munitions by Iraq. If backing to obstruct the resolution could be won, then the U.S. delegation were to proceed and vote in favour of taking zero action; if support were not forthcoming, the U.S. delegate were to refrain from voting altogether.

In 1988, during the waning days of Iraq’s war with Iran, the United States learned through satellite imagery that Iran was about to gain a major strategic advantage by exploiting a hole in Iraqi defenses. U.S. intelligence officials conveyed the location of the Iranian troops to Iraq, fully aware that Hussein’s military would attack with chemical weapons, including sarin, a lethal nerve agent.
U.S. officials have long denied acquiescing to Iraqi chemical attacks, insisting that Hussein’s government never announced he was going to use the weapons. But retired Air Force Col. Rick Francona, who was a military attaché in Baghdad during the 1988 strikes, paints a different picture.
Top CIA officials, including the Director of Central Intelligence William J. Casey, a close friend of President Ronald Reagan, were told about the location of Iraqi chemical weapons assembly plants; that Iraq was desperately trying to make enough mustard agent to keep up with frontline demand from its forces; that Iraq was about to buy equipment from Italy to help speed up production of chemical-packed artillery rounds and bombs; and that Iraq could also use nerve agents on Iranian troops and possibly civilians.
"The Iraqis never told us that they intended to use nerve gas. They didn’t have to. We already knew," he told Foreign Policy.
Hard evidence of the Iraqi chemical attacks came to light in 1984. But that did little to deter Hussein from using the lethal agents, including in strikes against his own people.
President Reagan read the report and, according to Francona, wrote a note in the margin addressed to Secretary of Defense Frank C. Carlucci: "An Iranian victory is unacceptable."

Subsequently, a decision was made at the top level of the U.S. government (almost certainly requiring the approval of the National Security Council and the CIA). The DIA was authorized to give the Iraqi intelligence services as much detailed information as was available about the deployments and movements of all Iranian combat units. That included satellite imagery and perhaps some sanitized electronic intelligence. There was a particular focus on the area east of the city of Basrah where the DIA was convinced the next big Iranian offensive would come. The agency also provided data on the locations of key Iranian logistics facilities, and the strength and capabilities of the Iranian air force and air defense system. Francona described much of the information as "targeting packages" suitable for use by the Iraqi air force to destroy these target
    The sarin attacks then followed.
By 1988, U.S. intelligence was flowing freely to Hussein’s military. That March, Iraq launched a nerve gas attack on the Kurdish village of Halabja in northern Iraq.

A month later, the Iraqis used aerial bombs and artillery shells filled with sarin against Iranian troop concentrations on the Fao Peninsula southeast of Basrah, helping the Iraqi forces win a major victory and recapture the entire peninsula. The success of the Fao Peninsula offensive also prevented the Iranians from launching their much-anticipated offensive to capture Basrah. According to Francona, Washington was very pleased with the result because the Iranians never got a chance to launch their offensive.

The level of insight into Iraq’s chemical weapons program stands in marked contrast to the flawed assessments, provided by the CIA and other intelligence agencies about Iraq’s program prior to the United States’ invasion in 2003. Back then, American intelligence had better access to the region and could send officials out to assess the damage.

Iran Air Flight 655 was an Iran Air civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Dubai. On 3 July 1988, the aircraft operating this route was shot down by the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes. The incident took place in Iranian airspace, over Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, and on the flight's usual flight path. The aircraft, an Airbus A300 B2-203, was destroyed by SM-2MR surface-to-air missiles fired from Vincennes. All 290 on board, including 66 children and 16 crew, died.

Two years later the U.S. Navy gave the Vincennes’s commander the highly prestigious!

US support MKO , a terrorist group that terrorized a bout 17 thousands of Iranian!and helped Saddam in war against Iran
The MKO - listed as a terrorist organization by much of the international community - fled Iran in 1986 for Iraq and was given a camp by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. They fought on the side of Saddam during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-88 ). They were also involved in the bloody repression of Shiite Muslims in southern Iraq in 1991 and the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

The notorious group is also responsible for killing thousands of Iranian civilians and officials after the victory of the Islamic revolution in 1979.
More than 17,000 Iranians, many of them civilians, have been killed at the hands of the MKO in different acts of terrorism including bombings in public places, and targeted killings.

Back in December 2011, the United Nations and Baghdad agreed to relocate some 3,000 MKO members from Camp New Iraq, formerly known as Camp Ashraf, to the former US military Camp Liberty outside Baghdad.
The last group of the MKO terrorists was evicted by the Iraqi government on September 11, 2013 to join other members of the terrorist group at Camp Liberty and await potential relocation to other countries.
    http://www.tasnimnews.com/English/Home/Single/655694
The MKO has been blacklisted as a terrorist group by many countries and international organizations.
MKO also killed Rajai.one of the most popular president in Iran
he was the president of Iran from 2 to 30 August 1981 after serving as prime minister under Abolhassan Banisadr. He was also minister of foreign affairs from 11 March 1981 to 15 August 1981, while he was prime minister. He was assassinated in a bombing on 30 August 1981 along with prime minister Mohammad-Javad Bahonar.

The Stuxnet computer virus, created to sabotage Iran's nuclear programme, a report in the New York Times last week, which cited unnamed intelligence officials who said the virus was created using American knowledge of the relevant equipment and completed by Israel
Separate investigations by US nuclear experts have discovered that Stuxnet worked by increasing the speed of uranium centrifuges to breaking point for short periods. At the same time it shut off safety monitoring systems, hoodwinking operators that all was normal

so if Iranian couldn't stop that U may have had something like what happened in Hiroshima!

Few in the United States care very much if Iran wished death to us or hates us, as it is a mostly impotent country in a region where everybody hates everybody else.

In the most recent attack, on Jan. 11, 2012, Mostafa Ahamdi Roshan died in a blast in Tehran moments after two assailants on a motorcycle placed a small magnetic bomb on his vehicle.
ttacks include the assassination of Massoud Ali-Mohammadi, killed by a bomb outside his Tehran home in January 2010, and an explosion in November of that year that took the life of Majid Shahriari and wounded Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, who is now the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization.
and the other one was dariush rezainejad
his terror excited Iranian feeling a lot.maybe because of his daughter .[IMG]

US presidents always threat Iran and they say they will attack Iran! "all options are on the table!"
Saying that sentence got a habit for US politicians!
what that means?that means they are friend to the people who wants to invade their country and kill them?!!

also there is more....! but these 12 historical facts may be enough to explain the reason of Iranian "death to America"!!
now saying such thing is weird or unexpected?!

    for first/
Iranian point US government by saying "death to America" NOT AMERICAN PEOPLE!!
this letter can be good evidence for that :http://farsi.khamenei.ir/ndata/news/28731/index.html#en also if U go to Iran and ask people about it U will get that very very very easy.
    and second/
If Iran is impotent then why it became one of the greatest US government challenge?!
    and third /
Middle East was in peace before US ad some European invasion.but the "divide and rule" politics let US have authority in Middle East and also have it's oil.
as one example: http://www.politicalforum.com/latest-us-world-news/418272-last-us-support-isis.html and http://www.politicalforum.com/political-opinions-beliefs/406218-us-pro-anti-isil.html
I appreciate if U have any better explanation for US manner in Middle East in these topics.

That, like so many other examples, was an act of terrorism. Shame on those right wingers who refused to condemn the government's action.

So all of the coverage of Iranians doing that was just a waste of money? LOl.

The best thing for the hypocrites here to do, is to cover your eyes, plug up your ears and scream NA NA NA NA, so that real factual info does not reach the brain. For your belief system depends upon incoherence, and would really hate to risk that, right?

If Iran had committed on us, what we have done to them, you would have 300 million here, carry signs saying Death to Iran.

The first thing that goes before a nation like ours wallows in whale (*)(*)(*)(*), is critical thinking, and the tendency to swallow propaganda and believe and hang on every word of it. Our establishment depends upon the stupidity of americans, so please, do not disappoint them. They would be so hurt and let down if you did.

Americans, many of them will never put the shoe on the other foot. For they think that is weakness. And they are also averse to Truth.

I have a better explanation consistent with history and psychology in every way.

America has been covertly taken over by crusaders since 1871 after it's civil war. The civil war was supported by the ancient persecutors of Muslims in order to have the power to secretly continue the crusades.

Now the explanation goes into the group behavior of mammals.

There is a book missing from our planet. It is called "The Hundredth Monkey", published in 1962 by 23 Japanese biologists. It has been removed by the crusaders $ over the years because it reveals an aspect of how groups of people are controlled by their dreams. It was so important to remove another book by the same name was published in 1974 by the millions and heavily marketed to cover up the original 1962 book.

If the original book had been allowed to remain, the American populations would have questioned their collective actions heavily by 1980 and had the evidence to demand psychology develop a more in depth understanding.

Such an understanding is deemed heresy by the crusaders so could not be allowed by academia of psychology. The human unconscious mind is quite basically deem a heretic concept by psychology because of he control exerted of it by the crusaders. Therefore American people suffer untold problems and dysfunction as well as blindly providing support for the ancient mechanism of war upon Muslim people.

Dreams of course are a completely unconscious function of the human mind for the most part. What is not known is that deeply compelling, almost invisible, at times, aspects of human society are almost totally directed by the dream state information.

The crusaders with occult knowledge related to controlling people with dream state communications slowly created a complete fear inside of Americans as individuals and a group, of the unconscious mind itself, then another fear compelling obedience to a crusader controlled society, Thou shalt cause no change.".

Accordingly Americans are trapped by their natural social interaction with this invisible command compounded over living with it for generations.

Americans know what they are contributing to is wrong, as the messages of a few Americans in this thread post showing their exceptional social courage and moral fiber demonstrate. However, most Americans are made too afraid socially to speak up at all. The fear, being unconscious, cannot be cognitively debated in society.

Any researcher into human mental performance is set up to be discredited if they try to even indicate the facts of the 1962 book in studies.

Americans, essentially have been made afraid of themselves by this dark, unknowing influence secretly imposed upon them for at least a century.

Americans will silently endure the murders of their children in order to comply with this mandate that requires they support the new secret crusades. Dark spiritual forces, probably not as dark as those controlling the crusaders unconsciously, retaliate in misguided efforts to create or impel reason for Americans to demand psychology examine the human unconscious mind by causing mass murders.

The social fears are too great because the crusaders themselves used to kill any peoples in Europe going back 2,000 years for engaging the unconscious mind.

My best advice to Iran is to develop the best mental health care direct to the unconscious mind and be very scientific about it. It starts with a form of narco hypnosis using nitrous oxide and oxygen. That induces a fairly appropriate mental state to address the mechanisms of the unconscious.

The mechanisms of the unconscious are instinctual, phylogenetic DNA controlling response and behaviors. The instincts are effected by symbols, words with their meanings are the most common. Start with mild mental disorders exhibited as criminal behaviors. Drug addiction and alcoholism and sexual behaviors are also appropriate to influence in this way.

I explained a bout the meaning of it. also I see U even don't care a bout what US government did to Iran!I can count more than those12!and it dose not matter for U that what your government is doing against other nations they even don't have this right to defend themselves!
what would U felt if some other government would do just some of those things to U!??

and a bout women!just one example:I really really laugh a lot when I talk to some Americans and hearing them a bout what they are thinking a bout Iranian women.wish U could visit Iran for some days as a tourist only.and just walk in the streets to see the reality.in Iran according to Islamic law women have this right to have job and any sort of financial activity but they have no duty.that means while they have not married it is their father's duty to pay them and when the married their husband.even if a woman be the wealthiest woman in the world she an not to use any of here income and it is here husband's duty to pay for all of her needs.and this law today brought a bout some problems in Iran. because more than 60% of Iranian university students are woman and thou they can have better jobs and that brought a bout many men jobless and so because of this law getting married got hard for them...in which parts of the world U an find such law to women advantages?

also about homosexuals.that is not some thing common in Iran really that people wants to talk about that even!!!that recognized as a kind of disease which is needed to be cured and needs therapy.(of course that sort of view point exist in many other parts of the world) also is very rare phenomenon in Iran.

or a bout Jews.Iranian believe in great difference between Jews and Zionists.of course many many Jews all over the world(specially in US) believe in this fats too.Iranian have great problem with Zionists and recognize them as terrorists but not Jews at all(Iranian Jews also are happy because of that.as they are against brutalities Zionists brought about)
these are some of Jews synagogue in Iran.most of Iranian Jews are wealthy and have good jobs.and they are living with Muslims in peace( like Christians)

and a bout Iran Supreme leader fatwa on Nuke-bomb.first of all that is note the firs time that a Shiite clergyman say such Fatwa.when Saddam invaded Iran after some ears he found that he can't defeat Iranian so used Chemical weapons.and killed more than 5000 civilians and injured more than 7000.he even used this wepons ainst iit's own people who were pro-Iran in war. for more details: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_chemical_weapons_program
also : http://www.tehranpeacemuseum.org/index.php/en/ is Tehran peace museum website and U can find more in.

at that time Imam Khomeini declared a fatwa against chemical weapons [as a Weapon of mass destruction] and while Iran could answer Saddam with this weapons he let no one use these weapons.and today this fatwa is one of that day's fatwa branch.
but if U want to find that fatwa in Iran Supreme leader speech I can show U one example:

"Nuclear weapons neither ensure security, nor do they consolidate political power, rather they are a threat to both security and political power. The events that took place in the 1990s showed that the possession of such weapons could not even safeguard a regime like the former Soviet Union. And today we see certain countries which are exposed to waves of deadly insecurity despite possessing atomic bombs.

The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the use of nuclear, chemical and similar weapons as a great and unforgivable sin. We proposed the idea of “Middle East free of nuclear weapons” and we are committed to it. This does not mean forgoing our right to peaceful use of nuclear power and production of nuclear fuel. On the basis of international laws, peaceful use of nuclear energy is a right of every country. All should be able to employ this wholesome source of energy for various vital uses for the benefit of their country and people, without having to depend on others for exercising this right. Some Western countries, themselves possessing nuclear weapons and guilty of this illegal action, want to monopolize the production of nuclear fuel. Surreptitious moves are under way to consolidate a permanent monopoly over production and sale of nuclear fuel in centers carrying an international label but in fact within the control of a few Western countries.

A bitter irony of our era is that the U.S. government, which possesses the largest and deadliest stockpiles of nuclear arms and other weapons of mass destruction and the only country guilty of its use, is today eager to carry the banner of opposition to nuclear proliferation. The U.S. and its Western allies have armed the usurper Zionist regime with nuclear weapons and created a major threat for this sensitive region. Yet the same deceitful group does not tolerate the peaceful use of nuclear energy by independent countries, and even opposes, with all its strength, the production of nuclear fuel for radiopharmaceuticals and other peaceful and humane purposes. Their pretext is fear of production of nuclear weapons. In the case of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they themselves know that they are lying, but lies are sanctioned by the kind of politics that is completely devoid of the slightest trace of spirituality. One who makes nuclear threats in the 21st century and does not feel ashamed, will he feel ashamed of lying?

I stress that the Islamic Republic has never been after nuclear weapons and that it will never give up the right of its people to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Our motto is: “Nuclear energy for all and nuclear weapons for none.” We will insist on each of these two precepts, and we know that breaking the monopoly of certain Western countries on production of nuclear energy in the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty is in the interest of all independent countries, including the members of the Non-Aligned Movement."

also U want to know his idea a bout Americans this is one example:
"The UN Security Council has an illogical, unjust and completely undemocratic structure and mechanism. This is a flagrant form of dictatorship, which is antiquated and obsolete and whose expiry date has passed. It is through abusing this improper mechanism that America and its accomplices have managed to disguise their bullying as noble concepts and impose it on the world. They protect the interests of the West in the name of “human rights”. They interfere militarily in other countries in the name of “democracy”. They target defenseless people in villages and cities with their bombs and weapons in the name of “combating terrorism”. From their perspective, humanity is divided into first-, second- and third-class citizens. Human life is considered cheap in Asia, Africa and Latin America, and expensive in America and Western Europe. The security of America and Europe is considered important, while the security of the rest of humanity is considered unimportant. Torture and assassination are permissible and completely ignored if they are carried out by America, the Zionists and their puppets. It does not trouble their conscience that they have secret prisons in various places on different continents, in which defenseless prisoners who have no legal representation and have not been tried in a court of law are treated in the most hideous and detestable way. Good and evil are defined in a completely one-sided and selective way. They impose their interests on the nations of the world in the name of “international law”. They impose their domineering and illegal demands in the name of “international community”. Using their exclusive and organized media network, they disguise their lies as the truth, their falsehood as true, and their oppression as efforts to promote justice. In contrast, they brand as lies every true statement that exposes their deceit and label every legitimate demand as roguish.

Friends, this flawed and harmful situation cannot continue. Everybody has become tired of this faulty international structure. The 99 percent movement of the American people against the centers of wealth and power in America and the widespread protests of the people in Western Europe against the economic policies of their governments show that the people are losing their patience with this situation. It is necessary to remedy this irrational situation. Firm, logical and comprehensive bonds between member states of the Non-Aligned Movement can play an important role in finding a remedy.

Honorable audience, international peace and security are among the critical issues of today’s world and the elimination of catastrophic weapons of mass destruction is an urgent necessity and a universal demand. In today’s world, security is a shared need where there is no room for discrimination. Those who stockpile their anti-human weapons in their arsenals do not have the right to declare themselves as standard-bearers of global security. Undoubtedly, this will not bring about security for themselves either. It is most unfortunate to see that countries possessing the largest nuclear arsenals have no serious and genuine intention of removing these deadly weapons from their military doctrines and they still consider such weapons as an instrument that dispels threats and as an important standard that defines their political and international position. This conception needs to be completely rejected and condemned."
