here is a fact for you... there are almost 2 MILLION Cuban refugees in America today, thats almost 15% of Cuba's entire population... so 15% of Cuban citizens have risked DEATH to escape the country and flee to America... that is a SIGNIFICANT number...

and that number was not just a single mass exodus... its a constant stream of people, before all the "problems" you suggest, and even during this time of "great" achievements in socialism... yet people are STILL trying to flee the country... so let's dig into the political prisoners...

and you want to argue about 100 political prisoners in america? when in an 8 month period, Cuba, with a population under 12 million, locked up over 7000 people... IN JUST EIGHT MONTHS... seriously? you want to start comparing apples to apples? explain that one...

Not just 100 political prisoners, way more if you consider america's history and the repression of leftism. Where do you get your number? Do you honestly think american media will be honest about cuba? It's their mission to demonize them.

I cited where I got the data from... the human rights watch... which has historically had fairly accurate data... just because you don't like it, doesn't mean its not true...

P.S. way to ignore the fact 2 million cubans, roughly 15% of their population, have FLED cuba to get to america... if life was so great why would 15% of the people risk death to escape it?

Cuba arrests 90 dissidents at protest march

Havana (AFP) - With tense bilateral ties recently renewed after five decades, and top US diplomat John Kerry due in Havana in days, Cuba arrested some 90 activists on Sunday.

Cuban security forces rounded up marchers -- about 50 with the Ladies in White dissident group and around 40 other activists, some wearing masks with the image of US President Barack Obama, according to an AFP reporter.

One protester slammed Obama, and said the December announcement to normalize relations between the former Cold war foes had bolstered Havana's crackdown on dissidents.

"It's his fault, what is happening," said former political prisoner Angel Moya, speaking about Obama.

"The Cuban government has grown even bolder," he added before being detained.

"That's why we have this mask on. Because it's his fault," said Moya, husband of Ladies in White leader Berta Soler.
