    I don't see how you can rationalize this argument. Haven't we learned anything from Iraq? And what about our history lesson. The Germans were absolutely brutal in their attempted repression of terrorists and partisans in the Balkans...far more than we would, or any civilized nation, dare to be, and guess what? It didn't stop the terrorists, they only grew in numbers.

    You cannot "defeat" terrorism..you can only grind away at it, and attempt to change the social and cultural conditions which foster it. Terrorism has been around for thousands of years. You know why? Because it is very effective in making your enemy do what you want him to do.

    The chump POTUS wanted more than anything to be the guy that ended conflict in the ME.

    He was so arrogant and so delusional that when things didn't work out like he'd hoped-he is paralyzed from doing anything substantive. To do so would be to admit he was wrong about islamic terror all along.

    The best thing I can say about him-he was a "domestic" president when the US needed an "international" one.

    When he ran the first time. He had the Right message. Then he got into office and declared the Repubs as enemies. Now the Repubs.....should never allow that to fall to the way side. Nor should they allow the Democrats to forget what they said about them.

    Equating them to Iranians and extremists. Then Communists. No way should any from the Right be putting up with that BS.

    Moreover, BO and his Team of Misfits, should be called on it.
