Why soo many murders/shootings in the USA

Many nations have high levels of gun possession, but don't come even close to our murder rates.

Why? cause they have much more equality than the USA, and their people worry much less about paying the bills and living a decent life.

The USA is filled with extreme consumerism, extreme materialism, lack of empathy, too much inequality, and too little access to quality mental healthcare.

This is why we have soo many murders.

 

Eliminate drug related gun deaths, aka: urban gang crime, and our gun death rate would be very comparable to the nation's you elude to.

Then do it by geographic area. Circle the South and West sides of Chicago and scratch those deaths from the national total.

The drug war is causing the problem, creating an artificially elevated profit for drug sales that drives the gun deaths.

Legalize all drugs. If people want to poison themselves and die, that is their right.

If we weren't fighting Darwin and artificially keeping these people alive, there would be no demand for drugs, and these morons wouldn't have a market to peddle their poison.

 

We have a lot of minority gang violence.

 

We have a lot of black gang violence.

 

Don't leave out Hispanics. That's why I said "minority gang violence".

 

OK black and brown, but a lot of minorities are typically peaceful I don't want to lump them all together.

 

I have noticed in the last few years where I live...(Gold Coast, Australia) that there is a lot
more violence and there has been several murders...
Captured on CCTV a few nites ago, a man was kicked in the head while he sat having a smoke
outside a bar...then robbed by the kicker and his accomplice...
Recently a man was killed by a king hit... a couple of school aged girls have been murdered...
This is a bit unusual for this area...
I put it down to "nomoneystress" drugs, alcohol and an overall total inability to cope with life.
There is a huge push in Australia to stop domestic violence, of which there are 40,000 reports
per year, per state in Australia...
And in Qld, they have had an initiative where hundreds of schools give the kids breakfast
because the kids come to school unfed by their parents...and cant concentrate...
Add it all together and all is not what it seems in Australia.......

$300million to be spent on fighting the ICE epidemic.
Australia is one of the highest in the world when it comes to the use of ICE.
Qld government is considering a portfolio on Domestic Violence only...
Unemployment is closer to 10-12% than the 5-6% reported by Government lies.....
That is because if you work for one hour then you are considered employed.....
12000 Syrian refugees to be accepted by the Australian Government as directed
by the UN, but no-one in Australia wants them...no money for Australias homeless...
Multi-culturalism is being challenged throughout Australia, but the Government denies it..
Does it sound a bit like USA....probably....
We pander and kiss the @rse of every country in the world....USA, UK, China, Japan, Indonesia...etc...
But then again, some might argue because of our geographic position on the globe, we have to...

Now you unfortunately get to find out why violence in the US is so bad. It's not the postman and the grocer and the white collar guy down the street doing it.

 

Actually Ive rolled over on the gun issue....I feel now that if I travellled and lived in any part of the world,
the first thing Id buy would be a handgun.....

You see I understand more than most. I spent a lot of time overseas in a very peaceful country, never felt the need to be armed even though I was former military and grew up with guns, hunting, etc.

I couldn't have a gun there and at first it felt strange, but after a while and many positive incidents I realized I didn't need one.

After being back in the states for less than a year a lady up the street was gang raped by three guys breaking into her house at night. Two days after that someone had taken a crowbar to my back door during the day when I was at work, but someone must have scared him/them off.

Needless to say, I learned my lesson fast. It is our duty and our right to be able to protect ourselves. You can either hope it doesn't happen to you, or you can prepare. I chose to be prepared.

 

In a word, disenfranchisement. The fascist economic system that has evolved and replaced the free market in the US has disenfranchised a large segment of the population. As if that was not bad enough, we travel around the world exploiting the resources of other countries disenfranchising the people of those countries.

The income and wealth disparity that comes from disenfranchisement leaves people desperate and little to loose by turning to crime or violence to survive. In the case of foreign countries, violence is forced upon them and becomes their way of life.

Americans for the most part live in a fog of comfort and self absorption and are oblivious to the suffering of others perpetrated by their oblivion until something drastic happens to force them to look. But even then their lack of education and intelligence prevents them from seeing the roots of the problems, and they only see the symptoms.

 

Start with black gang violence and crime for which black society refuses to take responsibility and rid itself of.

 

There are too many gun nuts in America.

 

So, we can't pin this on global warming?

Yea! All those legally owned guns that stayed in a safe yesterday are responsible for such a high percentage of the murders yesterday.
