I'm new to the forum. My interests include politics, law, social issues and economics. Looking forward to lively discussions on here. In my spare time I enjoy motorcycling, climbing mountains and reading. I'm a combat veteran. I served as an airborne infantry scout/sniper in Iraq with the 82nd. I might be a little opinionated regarding the war on terror, but I'm open to listening to any and all ideas. Thanks for having me.
Hey Biker! Welcome aboard and I am glad to have you. Thanks for your service to this country. Maybe you don't think of it this way, but your service ensures that places like Political Forum, which welcomes opinions from the entire political spectrum, is allowed to function. Personally, I am always happy when people come to these forums and have strong opinions. It makes for more interesting discussions. I hope you enjoy posting here and I will look forward to seeing your posts in the forums.
Welcome. I'm a non-combat Army Vet. I have been so disappointed with how stupidly our top leaders have tried to fight in the Sandbox over the last 15 years. I would fight our current enemies there almost in the same way we fought the Germans and Japs in WW2 (minus carpet bombing and nukes: smile. The current rules of engagement, NATO or whatever, should be little different than what our forerunners had fighting the SS in Normandy. Any MAM out of uniform that looks like a fighter and acts like a fighter IS an enemy combatant. Fire at will. Any adult caught with an RGP, heavy machine gun, IED's and other naughty things in their homes ARE enemy combatants. They should be treated the same way a German family would have been treated hiding similar items ---- as in---not nicely.
