OK, I'll take the bait, I'm feeling froggy today... Explain to me why do you think it's just Obama? Do you not think any of the other Presidents or government agencies don't also do the same thing? I think it's bit more mainstream because of technology, and the way folks utilize this medium, over anything else. Some, if not most, of the things we, as humans, hear about in this world is through social media or an equivalent medium. These avenues weren't readily available to us in past generations, so I think that has something to do with it as well. The reason for this is because folks take social cues. If the majority of folks believe one way, then most likely more folks will follow suit. I say that because don't some, if not most, folks only vote for someone because they feel they'll win? Why not vote for someone who aligns with their views? Maybe vote for someone that is different than what is currently on full displace today (Not just Libertarian Party, but also the Green Party, Constitutional Party, and the many other third parties)? Facebook, and probably soon many others, use an algorithm that determines what the individual is most interested in, and continues to send that type of information to their feed. If all you, as a user of Facebook or the like, see are your same views/opinions being expressed by the same/different individuals, won't you get the sense that your views/opinions are right? My point being is that these things that you stated, that I'm not even going to try and navigate through, have yet to be challenged on a grand scale. If every single individual in these government/religious entities see everyone around them doing the same thing, with no recourse whatsoever, why should they change, when nearly everyone else is doing the same thing? Thus, that's why I go against the grain, and try to find a logical explanation to the things around me. I'm skeptic about skepticism, of which I know I'm guilty to a fault with it. However, whenever folks talk to me, I will always have an open mind and an open ear, ready to discuss any and all things (Hence why I'm the only one, so far, to comment on your post).
No ... Obama is on schedule to appoint more federal judges { 40 % already } than any President.He is doing it so that he doesn't even need Congress. Like with his ObamaCare and also Marrige proclamation.He wants to pull the same crap with our 2nd amendment.That is also why the lawyers lobby is a big democrat fundraising machine.The future will literally rest in the hands of the courts.That is also how Obama avoided virtually every Birth Certificate challenge that came down the pike.Even his own subpoena to appear in Georgia for a legal complaint filed over Obama's status to qualify as a " Natural Born Citizen ". Obama defied the subpoena to appear in the Atlanta courtroom. The complaint also accuses high ranking judges and federal officials of a cover up. The way the State of Hawaii did with their shenanigans over his " supposed " COLB,then Long Form BC.

You nailed it. Social media amounts to social engineering. That is why in my opinion it will end up doing more harm than good. Win the crowd, manipulate their freedoms.
Again, you keep pointing to one person, as if that's it. There are still far too many systematic issues in our country that it doesn't just go with the one person. Since probably the Wig Party era, I'd say the country has gotten far more closer to a super-centralized government, that encompasses everything. As time has gone on, more regulation & more policies were built on top of the construct we've, as a nation, already had in place. As that continued to fester on, those folks, with the gubmint jobs, need to continue to find ways to keep their jobs relevant. This causes more regulations, more oversight, more policies, and just more of the same garbage that has evolved into all that is our government today. Bringing this full circle, all of what you talk about is because of systematic failures at every level. If Obama truly did those things, then it's because those opportunities were given to him by everything that the government has been built upon. We, as a nation, just now have someone, whose studied the Constitution, and knows how to work the system. Whose at fault for that? Because if I do remember correctly, a lot of the policies he is currently using was put in place by the previous few Presidents (IE: Both Dubya's & 'Monica). So, again, I think you need to truly understand everything that is currently going on in our current government. Just because this dude is doing it, doesn't mean it hasn't been done before.
