You sound like an astute GOP political consultant, but you may have drifted just a smidge off course here.

Sardines should be preserved in oil - not sea water. Freedom requires toast points and Coors light.

The #nevertrump is the big money voice of the pretend Conservative voice in Washington. You know, the ones who always lose via compromise, to the Liberals/Democrats/Progressives, decade after decade.

They say Trump isn't a real Conservative. Well, given their standard of a Conservative, riddled with nothing but fail...maybe they have a point.

Those who say that they won't support Trump, side with the continual failure of compromise. Not a surprise. They would rather have their pretend version of Conservatism, rather than rock their boat of comfortable Conservatism laced with #neverwin

Anyone who thinks that Trump or Sanders are not qualified to be president have been misled. Either of them would be far better than any establishment politician.

    Yeah,sure.Conservatives should vote for a Non-Conservative.
Makes a whole lotta sense. And meat eaters should go vegan.
Nudists should start wearing clothes.Dog Lovers get cats.
Musicians should give up their instruments and start twiddling their thumbs.
Purple people eaters should switch to pink like The Donald.
And then the Fat Lady sings.
    Give me a break.

    Based on what?

    I like Bernie a lot but I don't think he'd make a good President

Assuming that a conservative is someone who stands for shrinking the size, power and cost of government there are very few conservatives in the GOP. The GOP is led by self loathing progressive elitists.

“Few genres are more media marketable than the car crash. It explains, in large part, the left’s ongoing fascination with Palin. In his public agony, Schmidt deftly cut himself into the Palin buffet line. Left-leaning operators from the Hollywood and Washington—New York media fell deeply for him. It was another instance of the media swooning over Republicans with self-flagellating tendencies, especially when they defy conservative orthodoxy and move left. (McCain being the object lesson in this with his maverick campaign of 2000, when he was that “refreshingly candid” McCain, as opposed to when he later moved right in 2008 and became the “bitter” McCain).” Mark Leibovich, This Town, Penguin Books, 2013, p. 290.

In their defense they are right to loath themselves and their political faction.

Basically Republicans are throwing a temper tantrum.

They've finally realized that the GOP is not doing anything in their best interests (as we libs have been saying for decades) and Trump is their hissy fit.

Why would you think Sanders would make a bad president? And compared to what? Bush I or II? Carter?

In Trump's case, I believe it is his record-holding flip-flop on every major issue, his empty promises, snappy slogans, and universal appeal to the lowest common denominator.

So you are going to give the presidency to Hillary with no chance whatever for any sort of worthwhile deal on Supreme court justices? That's not only short sighted it's foolish on the level of burning down the barn to get rid of rats. Look I'm no Trump fanboy either but my guy isn't running any more.

Sanders could not handle Trump. Trump would handle Sanders, and use immigrants from oppressed nations, fleeing communism to backdrop Sanders Communist past ideological positions and current closet Communism.

It would be poetic justice. Immigrants standing with Trump vs The Communist. I can just see it now. People from all the Communist nations that fled to America. Young. Old. Middle aged. Rich. Poor. Factory workers. Retirees...all from the different ethnic backgrounds in America.

There is more than enough information out there on Sanders communism, and that is without the serious investigation of team Trump finding all the rest.

In the first place, I really don't know who i'll vote for. I watched the philanderer Trump go after Hillary about Bill's affairs. What a hypocrite. There is much more about Trump that will surface before the elections. I might just vote for Hillary--a vote for Sanders will be a wasted.
I was a 'Trumpette' last fall, but after watching him for awhile I started to hate him. I can't stand his mannerisms, his lying, none of it.

So instead you'll vote for a woman whose connection to the truth is only a distant, if that, memory. Compared to Hillary Trump is a choir boy. And that isn't a high standard.

Yes, because Trump has shown every sign that he wants to turn our country into Nazi Germany, just like Obama did. Your tin foil hat, sir....may I help you with it...

Democrats are loathe to accept or admit this, but Bill Clinton took some very heavy body blows when he was president.

Oh, the republicans did not do him damage. But the courts of law and the Bar Association hung a loogie on him.

Clinton started being better once he put his full cooperation with the republicans into practice, shunning his own party.

Yeah, I remember how devastating it was for Clinton when he left office in 2000....with a 60%+ approval rating.

    The man was destroyed.

As I said, the more Clinton operated as if he was a Republican, the more popular he became.

    We called it triangulation.

That's a strawman argument because all I did was point out the flaw in your statement.

Who scares career politicians more than a tyrant who comes in and takes over their government?

Now since you brought it up lets look at the claim of Trump showing every sign that he wants to turn our country into Nazi Germany.

1.) Hilter didn't show every sign that he wanted to turn Germany into Nazi Germany.

If you read history you will find that very few people saw it coming and they were all called crazy. American journalists actually said very similar things about Hitler that journalists are now saying about Trump. They actually thought he was a joke.

2.) Trump actually has many indirect ties to Hitler and the Nazi regime.

His ex wife gave an interview in the early 90's that explained Trump keeps a copy of 'My New Order' by his bedside at all times. Which is a collection of Hitlers speeches. This was confirmed by the friend who gave Trump the book, a friend Trump was caught lying about to try and soften the truth. In the same interview the wife said whenever his cousin comes to visit him he greets Trump by heiling Hitler. Remember Trumps real last name is Drumpf which is German.

The first add for his campaign was an add on twitter that was taken down after a historian realized the soldiers Trump had walking behind the American flag were SS soldiers.

Trumps father was also arrested at a KKK rally back in the day and when you combine these facts with his racism and sexism and narcissism you get the perfect candidate for a tyrant.

Psychologists are currently using tapes of Trumps speeches to teach classes on narcissism. Historians have already compared Trump to Hitler in the way he talks, his mannerisms and the substance of his speeches.

If people on the wrong side of history knew what was going to happen, they would have never ended up on the wrong side of history.

Then there's the people he's surrounded himself with.

He is a Democrat, has been officially in the party twice. I am not convinced that his stances on any issue is sincere and thus I cannot vote for him in good conscience. I will not vote for Hilary either because I know she is a blatant liar. So in the end I will vote Libertarian and try and help that party grow in influence. The Republican and Democrats have left me behind and sold themselves to billionaires and special interests.
