Why would people vote for a known pathological liar with dubious moral, ethical, and legal history? A.K.A. Hillary Rodham Clinton? Even if she says she supports issues that you care about, she has no credibility to back up the idea that she will follow through on anything she says. Please provide an explanation as to why people support her anyway while knowing this.

The same reason that people buy lottery tickets.

    They can't do math.

Any way you add it up Hillary is a disaster. Especially in a post Comey revelation era.

The alternative is to vote for a man so dangerous he should not be allowed on the white house tour

I don't support trump either. We had the opportunity to elect a candidate on the Democratic side that was, more or less, honest (Sanders). If people are so tired of establishment politics, why not choose an honest candidate over a lying one?

Because some see the alternative as being even worse.

Sanders while perhaps being perceive as more honest, is also perceived by many as being too far to the left.

That is the other half why we are relegated to chooze between a piece of crap vs. a piece of fecal matter for POTUS.

    No kidding.

Hillary, warts and all, is exponentially superior to the sociopathic clown act on the other side.

And she is a warmonger, and these folks claim to be against warmongering.

And she is in bed with the banks, these folks claim to hate people sold out to the transnational banks.

And she has banked tons of donations from the Sunni Oil producing states and these folks are supposed be all against religious extremism and Big Oil.

And Bernie is about to endorse her. Maybe it's some sort of weird tribalism or something?

Liberals do not have a single independent thought amongst them. They would vote for a rock if they were told to do so.

Yet the GOP's best contender was somehow determined to be Trump? Not going to lie, on second thought, he probably is because the whole line up was trash this election cycle.

We have two to choose from. ALL need to be kicked out and we start new. But...it won't happen. Be ready for the fallout if either one gets in there.

Yeah he's sort of like a competent, collected version of Trump. Maybe a little nicer.

At this point, if the candidate means to follow through on (*)(*)(*)(*) they say, and gets said (*)(*)(*)(*) done, they have my vote.

What is their alternative? An unpredictable candidate who seems to be more focused on being a provocateur with populist rhetoric rather than setting down some sensible policies that actually seem remotely enforceable?

There was a report about a year back that scientist think political leanings are partly genetically determined. Their genes made them do it.:salute:

well this is a total bait thread... but the answer is easy, you don't need to be a psychologist either, they are putting power over ideology... see how easy that was?
