Trump has urged the Russians to illegally break into Hillary's and the DNC's email servers and steal emails.

this is a crime in the USA, and would be an international crime if done from Russia.

if done from Russian govt. sources, its an act of foreign espionage.

Trump encouraging foreign espionage, may be an act of Treason.

    what say you?

If you listen to his comments, and not the media's coverage of his comments, you would realise that trump was talking about if the Russians did hack into Hillary's email server, then they should hand them over to the FBI.

Do you have proof? Treason is a serious crime. I will not vote in this bias poll.

Not sure how one could construe this to be treason, but everybody sure loves to throw that term around on this board.

I listened to the press conference live and he said nothing about turning anything over to the FBI. It's still no big deal as far as I am concerned. Neither are the DNC emails that were leaked. Anyone who doesn't know that anything emailed can and probably will be hacked and leaked if it has any political value.

Not sure that what he did rose or sunk to the level of the LEGAL definition of treason but what it does sink to the level of moral treason. There is no prison sentence for moral treason but one hopes that somewhere in another level of human spiritual existence a terrible person like Trump who gas committed moral treason will be punished.

Gross misinterpretation of what he said. He didn't by any means encourage them to do so, he said if they did they need to hand it over to the FBI immediately. And even if he did Trump says alot of stupid (*)(*)(*)(*). Doesn't mean he deserves to be locked up for it. Especially not with a charge as serious as treason. I would definitely agree he should not be given a position in our government though.

Why do you ask for evidence now when you accused, tried, convicted, and sentenced Hillary without a but of evidence.

These are the provisions under the Espionage Act.

    § 791 - Repealed. Pub. L. 87–369, § 1, Oct. 4, 1961, 75 Stat. 795]
    § 792 - Harboring or concealing persons
§ 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information
§ 794 - Gathering or delivering defense information to aid foreign government
§ 795 - Photographing and sketching defense installations
§ 796 - Use of aircraft for photographing defense installations
§ 797 - Publication and sale of photographs of defense installations
    § 798 - Disclosure of classified information
    § 798A - Temporary extension of section 794
§ 799 - Violation of regulations of National Aeronautics and Space Administration

As you can tell poor ol' Ronstar doesn't have the slightest clue what he's talking about.

I disagree. What he did was just shoot his big mouth off for the thousandth time this election season without knowing what he was talking about. That is his style. There are no laws against being a lying blowhard here in America. First amendment and all. Relax folks and enjoy the show.

Trump could easily and immediately be charged with violating the Logan Act

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Act#Text

§ 953. Private correspondence with foreign governments.

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

How did Trump violate the Logan act. Can't wait for this one, after you completely embarrassed yourself claiming that he violated the espionage act.

Trump is a manchild who isn't fit to use safety scissors, much less be given access to our nuclear codes. But no, he hasn't committed treason.

What a lie. Trump did not say for Russia to break into anything. He said get the emails. Since Trump has no authority over Putin to anything so it's nothing.
