Trump concedes Obama was born in the U.S.

As a Clinton supporter who voted both times for Obama, I have to say I agree with TeaAddict on this one. Unlike my fellow liberal Democrats, while I do believe Obama was born in Hawaii, I do NOT believe the birther movement is based on Obama’s race. I simply believe that it’s a convenient conspiracy theory for political opponents to drum up about him because of the circumstances of his life story (his father was a foreign-born immigrant, he spent a significant amount of his childhood living in another country, and he has some fairly close relatives living in another country). Think of it this way: I’m white, my dad is German, and he spent 20 years living in Ecuador before coming to the U.S. and meeting my mom, and when I was a child, I visited my cousins in Ecuador. If I were to run for president, and my political ideas were hated by enough people, I could easily imagine some people out there coming up with a conspiracy theory that I was born in Ecuador and not California.

If the birther issue was really happening “just because he’s black”, then the same thing would have been brought up about Jesse Jackson back in the ‘80s and ‘90s. But it wasn't, because there wouldn’t have been any building blocks on which to base that theory. -Jackson’s life story doesn’t have chapters in it what would open up that possibility in peoples’s minds. Jackson did not have immigrant parents, nor close cousins living in a faraway country, and (as far as I know), I think prior to running for President, he had never even set foot outside the United States.

I’ll also add that I DON’T believe that:
a…Republicans hate Obama "just because he’s black," or that
b…blacks support Obama "just because he’s black."

If Republicans hated Obama just because he’s black, then why do Republicans come out in droves to hear black candidates like Herman Cain and Ben Carson?
If blacks support Obama just because he’s black, then why is it that at a typical Ben Carson event, you would see a sea of white faces, and not one single person of color?

Hawaii.having arrived in Hawaii in 1959 to study sociology at the University of
Hawaii.A Native of Buffalo,N.Y. Abercrombie met Obama's father as a teaching asst.
Describing him as a good friend.
When Running for Governor,he ran on a pledge,if elected he would get to
the bottom of Obama's Birth Certificate dilemma.This pleased no end,Chris
Matthews when word of Abercrombie winning the Governorship.
Because Matthews doggedly asked every single Politican appearing on
- Hardball - if they believe Obama to be a U.S. Citizen.Matthews would not
take no for an answer.Every person had to answer that Matthews Question.
When Governor Abercrombie failed to come up with Obama's Birth Certificate
and then admitting he could not locate it,this became an issue ... Again.
All Governor Abercrombie could admit to locating was something written down
in the archives pertaining to a Birth but No long-form birth certificate.
There ya have it.The Governor himself,after pledging if he won,swore to
end the Obama birth certificate debate once and for all and present Obama's
valid BC { long-form }. He could not.

 

Because it was a way to implement a Saul Alinsky sort of Book of rules.
Make the opposition live up to their own book of rules.
Because that is what Hillary and Obama pulled on McCain.
Way before Obama's Birth certificate ever became an Issue,there
was the issue of John McCain's eligibility.How was it that both
Obama and Hillary managed to co-sponser a bill drafted by Patrick Leahy
and Clair McCaskill which was a non-binding resolution,
That resolution ,introduced to the Senate as Senate Resolution 511,
passed on April 30,2008.

 

Obama was on the committee that vetted McCain's illegibility to run for POTUS and it only took about 20 minutes.

pages of Health did Obama vs. McCain turn over.

said it was locked up,that she had seen it. "
" Well " said Evans ... " the governor demanded to see it,went to the hospitals,
sent all of his people,a search warrant,and he could not get it. "
Evans on another Radio show said ... " Yesterday,I talked to Neil ... said he
has searched everywhere using his powers as Governor ... there is no
Barack Obama birth certificate. "

If you bothered to read, you would see I didn't compare it to the Holocaust. I compared Trump’s denial of 400 years of oppressing and brutalizing of black Americans comparable to denial of the Holocaust.

And it is a moral imperative, in my opinion, to make this crystal clear to everyone who is thinking of voting form Trump.
