Faced with an election-year albatross, Democrats may finally be admitting that the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, stinks.

And the leader of this pack of sudden skeptics is none other than former President Bill Clinton.

“The people … out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their [Obamacare] premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half.”

Yesterday, in Michigan, Bill Clinton told voters that the legislation has created a “crazy system” where millions more people have health care but those unable to qualify for subsidies are getting “killed

Surprising how long it took them with their hands out yet getting nothing in them as promised. Waking up after so long.

Exactly because wrecking the healthcare system first is the only way they could force "Clintoncare" on the country. A single payer system where everyone is forced into Medicare.

He's not criticizing O'care as much as he's starting the push for total government controlled single payer, that's why he said "those without subsidies are getting killed". They want everyone "subsidized" = .everyone under their thumb...period.

True, but most Americans hate Obamacare and Trump should remind them how corrupt the system and Obamacare is!

Most countries with national healthcare spent less on government spending for healthcare than the U.S.A does.

When you account for out of pocket costs, and government costs on healthcare, then the U.S.A was the #1 spender on healthcare in the World.

This is making sense? really? really now?

Sure, letting people die is always cheaper.

Is that why many countries with national healthcare live longer than the U.S.A does?

Besides, if some Conservatives had their way, then wouldn't they prefer "Letting people die" if they can't afford healthcare insurance?

If I recall Ron Paul had some thing similar to say to that.

They live longer partly because they don't have Obamacare, Obamacare kills you know!
When you get older Obamacare wants to eliminate you!

People had access to hospital emergency rooms and free clinics as their own
    personal HMO's before Obama Care.
This idea that we were just letting people drop dead for lack of care is scurrilous and cowardly. If you think your chances are always better with subsidized single payer government managed health care then you are sadly deluded. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-195277/NHS-death-rates-times-higher-US.html

Obama Care is based on a lie and designed to fail. In that regard it's working well but there have always been better options and better ideas from the right.

The fact that those with national healthcare tend to live longer than the U.S.A speaks volumes.

Yeah, the U.S.A was paying top notch prices on healthcare to pay for people's healthcare anyways.

No wonder why before Obamacare, the U.S.A was already paying more on government spending than most of those with national healthcare.

You liberals and demorats gave us the disaster called Obamacrap!
Bill Clinton is correct for once!

In a staggering moment of honesty caught on tape, former President Bill Clinton admits to a group of voters in Michigan that Obamacare is a complete disaster and is wreaking havoc on the middle-class and "small-business people." Per the video published by the NY Post, Clinton says that Obamacare is fine for those who are eligible for subsidies but admits that that hardworking "people who are out there busting it, sometimes 60 hours a week, wind up with their premiums doubled and their coverage cut in half and it’s the craziest thing in the world."

A better headline would be "Clinton finally arrives where the GOP was half a decade ago"

Nothing precludes a two tier system, like most other countries with medicare for all. Everyone gets medical care and those that wish things like private rooms or going to private clinics can do so. Indeed there is also a very robust and competitive private insurance industry in most of those countries too.

The compromise that became the ACA was an typical example of what you get from the committee charged with designing the horse - you get a elephant..

There's no way to cut costs. The cost of medicines are going up.

The Epi-pen, for example, went to $900 dollars.

I seem to recall that an AIDS drug got bought out and was raised to $700 a pill.

    It's hopeless.

The reason that Europe spends less is that they have cheap drugs and this is a charity service to Europe. USA will never see such charity. Here's where the drug companies make their money.

The Republican Party is proven 100% correct on Obamacrap, it's now a disaster.
Fortunately Trump can win partly because so many middle class people hate Obamacare.

How about the Hep-C drug Harvoni. $1100 per pill taken daily for 90 days. Just short of a $100K for the series.

It was released Nov-14 and had nothing at all to do with Obamacare. There is a yuge problem with the entire system
