My guess is that well over 99% of advancements on women have come without direct consent. It's called making a move. Sometimes a girl acts really friendly and it can be misconstrued as implied consent to make an advancement. If she says no, or shows resistance it means no, and a guy should stop advancing. However, as I said earlier, basically no guy asks can I touch you, can I kiss you, can I hug you? He would never get laid.
