If Clinton had won, it would be because of election fraud. Trump won because the voters turned out in enough numbers to overcome the fraud.

If the electoral college rebels and hands the it to Clinton, people will be incensed. Very few on either side believe the system is fair and honest, almost all believe it is corrupt, such an action by the electoral college will be seen as the final straw of corruption.

The "progressives" are the violent ones. Who staged violent events at Trump rallies in order to smear Trump? Who kills cops? Who riots and burns down their own community? "progressives".

 

True, the electors are free agents. But if Georgia is any example to go by, each candidate submits his/her list of electors to the Georgia secretary of State. Tuesday's voting was a vote for which slate of electors would be chosen. Trump won Georgia, so it is his slate of electors who will vote on 19 Dec.

Back in 1996 I was an elector for Ross Perot here in Georgia. If Ross had won Georgia, I would have been one of the electors who would have cast his electoral vote for Ross. He lost, so Dole's slate of electors cast Georgia's electoral votes. True, there is no law here in Georgia which makes it mandatory for an elector to cast his vote for the candidate he was chosen to be an elector for.

But it is my understanding, some states do have that law, whether or not they do is entirely up to that state. So not all electors are free agents. But you can bet that only a avid and well trusted supporter would be chosen by a candidate to be one of his elector slate.

Trump won Georgia, the will of the people of Georgia is for the electors to cast their electoral votes for Trump regardless of whom won the popular vote nationwide. The same goes for other states, it is the will of the people of Michigan that they cast their electoral votes for Trump, the will of the people of New York that they cast their electoral votes for Clinton.

This general election is actually 50 smaller state elections and not one national event. I think each elector ought to follow the will of the people of the state in which they were chosen as an elector. Electors are not chosen nationwide, they are chosen state by state and their loyalty lies with the state they were chosen.

Although it would have worked out better. About 90% of the countries went for Trump. With two small sections (area wise) going for Clinton. Unfortunately those two sections have the largest populations. So, the state's electors went to Clinton. If the electorates, were no given out winner take all, then Trump would have had far more delegates.

There is only one problem here, and that is the vast amount of Democrat voter fraud in the different states that hasn't been contested by the Republicans since they won the electoral college. Frankly I think they should contest it, especially in states where the machines are owned by George Soros, that way they would insure that it doesn't happen in the next election...

As an example the Democrats brought exit polling to court with the excuse that it was intimidating the voters even though they had already voted and weren't required to answer. It was thrown out by the judge of course, since the real reason the Democrats didn't want them was because they knew the amount of votes cast in certain precincts would be more than the amount of voters.

In one important state, there were machines that automatically switched the votes cast for Trump to Clinton and people had to be told to check the machine before they pulled the lever. This was minor though compared to something else. One computer expert figured out how someone could rigg the main computer that tallies all the votes. When they examined the machine they found it it had been set up that way.

 

So yes. Your opinion is noted. We don't give a tiny shiny rats hiny about what Europe thinks about our election process of our President. Go cry to the avalanche of Muslims assimilating your beautiful history so a few global leftist elites could get a few votes.

I'm willing to wager right now that every electoral college elector does vote with the popular vote and that Trump will be inaugurated on Jan 20.

The electors have been following the way the votes were awarded on election night for a couple of hundred years now.

It's going to take MUCH more than a stupid change.org petition signed by a bunch of sniveling crybaby losers to change that.

By the way, I'm pretty sure that there is a process in place to change the way the President is selected legislatively. If that's really the goal, perhaps energy would be better spent in pursuing that instead of blocking traffic, burning and breaking (*)(*)(*)(*), and generally just throwing a hissy fit because you don't like the outcome of the election.

 

Yes...If he murders someone or something comes out that would disqualify him...but it would have to be earth-shaking IMO. Electors that refuse to vote for nothing other than their personal opinion will most likely lose their political careers.

Trump went to three rallies every single day, and each rally had more than 20 thousand people cheering him ...and yet none of the medias were reporting it. Hillary only went to meetings if there were millionaires who could finance her campaign. This shows who would have benefited from a Clinton presidency, and who would have benefited from a Trump presidency.
