I thought he was a Nazi. Make up your minds. Whatever he is, he's bringing those jobs and it's killing you.

Come on Brewskier, you've been on these forums long enough to know not to feed the trolls.

These Liberals will believe anything Obama tells 'em instead of their lying eyes.
    Trump can't win with them.

If Trump doesn't move his manufacturing from Mexico he's a hypocrite
If Trump does move manufacturing to USA then its a conflict of interest, gaming the system, yada yada yada, etc.

Just sit down, kick back and watch them squirm while their lives get better

    The partisan hypocrisy ....

If Obama had done the same thing I'd be commending him for it. But he didn't; Trump did, and some people here can't forget their partisanship no matter what.

Don't worry, I don't try to change their minds, I just try and shut them down.

MotherJones, REALLY? Libs sure are slow on the uptake....all these Lib websites continue to manipulate your minds. If it weren't so tragic, it would be hilarious. Maybe I'll giggle just a little anyway. Obama NEVER tried to bring jobs back so people could work, nor did he care, he was too busy selling us out to our enemies....good riddance...now just slither away...

I'm beginning to wonder: Will there be any companies left who haven't moved jobs back to America by the time Trump takes his oath?

(The libs must be upchucking Kool-Aid out their noses by now)

Sorry but this story I heard a couple three months ago so your headlines are less than accurate. If I do not get to it I am sure someone else will and show that giving LICE Trump the credit for this is up there with the FOS award.

They are cancelling the new plant due to lack of demand for small cars.

If it produces more high paying union jobs the traditional left in this country will love it. Why wouldn't they?

The world has turned upside down. Suddenly, the right doesn't believe in the free market anymore. Really this is just Ford kissing Trump's butt to avoid a negative tweetstorm and getting good pr in the process. But the realities of business mean that most of this will be symbolic, or the prices of cars will rise in America and our economy overall will suffer for a few jobs here and there.

Because they will have to admit a Republican President is doing well by them. Personally, I don't believe they are ideologically capable of doing that.

On Tuesday, Ford announced it will instead invest $700 million in its Flat Rock, Michigan, plant and add 700 direct new jobs. The company said it will continue to build its Ford Focus at an existing plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, to improve company profitability.

Which is the reason he wants Tariffs.... Keep up..

    Also

"And we mentioned also at the same time this is what we do as a business," he said. "Listen, we're a global multinational. Our home is here in the U.S. It's really important for us to be strong and vibrant here in our home, and build on the investment in job creation we've been able to produce over the last five years."

Fields also pointed out that the company could do well with a more positive U.S. manufacturing business environment under Trump. "We see the pro-growth policies that he's proposing. So, this is a vote of confidence in what we think the president-elect is going to pursue and it's right for our business," he said.

So there you go *new* poster.

There are morons on both sides of the aisle who only care about who is an R or a D. Most Americans however are smarter than that and will support positive action by a President of either party. That is why Obama has a positive rating right now. Most Americans think he did a pretty good job considering the crappy hand he was dealt when he came into office. If Trump keeps moving us forward financially and doesn't get a bunch of our kids killed in idiotic wars, he will also enjoy a positive rating from the better part of Americans. There are morons here on this forum who vehemently cheered Bush on into his idiotic trillion dollar bloody wars who then hacked on Hillary for voting to give Bush the power to go to war as a last resort. There are also moron Democrats that will not give Trump any credit no matter what he accomplishes. That's the nature of politics today....

Very good! May I ask a Lib how this is a bad thing? Seriously, I truly would like to know? I just wish (all partisan aside) that the (hate Trump) American people can give the new Presidential admin a chance before joining all the cynical criticism we are currently witnessing.

Yes, but it's arguable his statement is merely "corporate-speak". Like when they pay to settle a lawsuit and claim no fault.
Do we think Ford would have done a 180 if Hillary had been elected?
Besides --- I thought Hillary had educated everyone about the concept of "public position" and "private position".

You won't get an answer to that question. I'm reading this thread and just laughing at the libs trying their hardest to find fault in anything and everything that is a positive for this country. Why do they hate jobs being in America? Why do they hate the working class so much?
