I don't disagree with her sentiments so in that respect the content of her posts is "right". But I think we agree that, having made her views public she has compromised herself.

 

CNN is reporting that the head of the SS is reviewing the agents conduct, and that "appropriate action" will be taken.

SS agents go into their job swearing to die first before letting their protectee take a bullet. Period. Doesn't have to be the POTUS, but obviously he gets the most protection and therefore the most media.

Your opinion on the SS and their obligation is very wrong. And I would bet my house that had a SS agent said the same thing about Obama, you'd be singing a different tune. Difference between us is that I'd call for the SS agent to be disciplined regardless of who the president is.

I agree it is her job to protect him if she is on the presidential detail, I was just asking the question because I have always heard folks say you are suppose to take a bullet for the president. I was just wondering if that is actually in writing or is it just one of those unwritten rules.

How could the OP author have missed them?

those facebook posts were not about her boss because he had not taken the oath of office seven months ago, or six months ago, or five, four or three or two or one month ago. Obama has been her boss. They were prior to Trump's employment as anything. She was perfectly free to say what she pleases about someone is a public figure and who was not her boss. Second, she did not yell anything from the mic. she wrote it on her personal page.
