obama has shown how to go around the law, and how to ignore the law. All Trump has to do is have the appropriate regulatory agency creatively interpret the law to mean whatever Trump wants it to mean, put the banned people on a plane, and fly them out of the country. Done. Then who cares what the ACLU claims, it will take years to work through the Trump DOJ, and if it doesn't go Trumps way then Trump just has the appropriate regulatory agency creatively interpret the new law......and so on.

By the way, I fully support Trumps ban on immigrants. And I hope Trump plays the obama game and truly reams the "progressives" with their own stick.

 

What is messed up? President Trump has exposed many of these establishment politicians for what they are. If they do not go along with what the people want why should the people vote for them? Do not forget President Trump won some blue states "bigly". Dems may want to tread lightly.

The judge is meddling in constitutional executive powers in a manner that sees her "stay" as as a de facto executive decision in real time. We are far afield from realistic judicial oversight. Emagine if you will a judge issuing a "stay" for the D Day invasion or the utilization of the atomic bomb on Japan.

If decisions like this one are allowed the function of the executive becomes subordinate to the judiciary.

This judge has crossed the line and in doing jeopardizes us all. We did not elect her as chief executive. The Constitution gives no power to the judiciary concerning the mechanism for entry by a foreign national into the jurisdiction of the United States. This is entirely an executive function.

Quick immediate action is required on national security issues, deliberative hearings are anathema to this reality.

First point is no foreign citizen has any right to gain entry into this country. Second Presidents have BROAD discretion on who is allowed to enter. Third persons here on visa's are here at the pleasure of the government.

Now where does the judge get the jurisdiction to interfere with the President's foreign policy and immigration decisions?

 

Which of course begs the question, where is this judge determining she has judicial power to interfere with the President's decision. Were this December 8th and FDR issues an order to ban all immigration from Japan would she stay the order?
