'Viva Mexico!': Trump wall awakens Mexican patriotism

In their own land maybe then if it´s so wonderful
they would be there instead of here.
And stop waving Mexican flags in a country not
there own.
In Mexico it just might fly,but not in these United
States of America.

Mexicans should take more pride in their country and its abilities. For example,
Mexican sodas are often excellent, with genuine fruit flavors instead of pernicious artificial ones. I love lime Jarritos.

If Mexicans get more patriotic, maybe they will no longer tolerate the drug traffickers supplying the US with drugs. Both countries would benefit if they put a stop to those organizations and their violence.

 

Ahhh nationalism on the rise everywhere, thanks to Trump. Soon we can expect a penalty for not flying the flag 24-7. It might take another month or two, however.

 

How come do you think their rising patriotism will be directed in a certain way that they start developing themselves and not turn it against USA? Maybe they will just start mass hatred propaganda campaigns soon all over Mexico against the United States and send in some more killers this time with government support. 2 thousand miles long border can't be just controlled by a *******n wall, nor can it by few teams of patrols. Tunnels are everywhere, some longer than a mile you can fit cars and trucks in them. Maybe they just send secret agents to sabotage southern states in hit&run style? Maybe they have sleeping cells in some states who are already citizens of US that will conduct mass shootings in different parts of the country? I understand soda is good and everything but maybe it's wake up time?

Here's another dude that things patriotism is just staying at home working for the good of the country by growing rice and stuff. Some think patriotism differently though. They may see somethings as biggest "insults" to their own people and history. In such case they may say f.k America and work for a secret, dirty war upon all Americans. Vengeance and retaliation in so many different ways are two major outcomes of patriotism. Patriotism primarily unite all citizens against all enemies of the motherland. Never forget that.

Hopefully they're not dumb enough to think they can beat us militarily. The most they could do is work towards an economically viable sanction or embargo plan, effective until Trump leaves office or is impeached, and try to get new trading partners in order to facilitate that.

I suppose they might try asymmetrical warfare as well. Mexico could become a new producer of terrorists because of Trump's rhetoric.

 

The idiot Trump will come to realise soon enough that he can't push sovereign states around without consequences, and when his crass stupidity begins to cost American jobs the backlash will follow close behind. What an ignorant pig.

Not a lot of Americans immigrating to any other countries that I'm aware of. Even the Hollywood stars that said they would if Trump won are staying put.

Mexico has been occupied five times by foreign troops (American, British and French.)

The problem with Mexicans, they refuse to fix their problems in their own country but instead run way from their problems. The only problem is when they run away from their problems thy usually run towards El Norte and they bring their problems and politics with them.

Good! Every country should have nationalistic pride in itself. Hopefully many of those patriotic Mexican nationals who live in this country can return to that wonderful country of theirs.
