Beware Creeping ism

"fighting in the streets" can mean something as tame as protesting.

 

Clearly means protesting, particularly given the context of him saying fighting in courts and at ballot boxes. But why bother with this country anymore? The other side is beyond hope. Time to secede and make a new one, ideally peacefully.
