"The Walking Dead" - Does anybody else watch it?

I wonder if Ezekiel's "coming clean" with Carol is just his backup con.

As I understood it, those pigs are for the Saviors. Rick's people are on the supplying end, just like Ezekiel's people. They won't be getting that meat.

 

And then he show's up at her house that she just claimed.

 

...and shows up offering fruit. I'm pretty sure Carol is too smart to fall for anything at this point, she laughed when being introduced to King E.

Id hate to be in the group that eats those walker fed pigs.

One thing for sure...Negan needs to be taken down!!! I don't read the comics so I'm not sure how his character plays out there.

 

Maybe nanobot zombies. Possibly an alien source like the Blob or Triffids arrived by asteroid, or the Thing crashed, and the nanobot’s sole purpose was to transport nutrients to the cells. Like something to keep organ replacements from clones alive for longer periods of storage, they are not designed to repair; they just transport nutrients from available sources (feeding on insects…for those in confined spaces). They infected everything first, the body dies, the brain dies, but their simple programming or design was only to keep the cells alive by transporting nutrients like ants taking crap back to the colony. They could be covering everything, grass, trees…

If the show wanted to explain it later, they could just stumble upon a Walker trapped in a sealed room with empty unopened boxes of food. The nanobots could pass though porous containers but not cans. Some fitness nut who counted calories before might notice they don’t need to eat as much. Eugene would be the one to form the hypothesis. Once a reunited Morgan hears Eugene’s hypothesis, and sees the bigger picture, I can see Morgan “clean” again; only the good life is precious.

It is the only show involving zombies I would watch, don’t need to know how, or why the CDC missed it, the acting and quality of the show is just too great.

 

Still enjoying the new season but I have complaints about Negan, despite the things he's done, he just doesn't scare me in the least bit, he should put fear in you just with a glance, he's just not menacing. Makes me thing he used to be a copier salesman before the zombies came. (And not in a good way, like General Bethlehem from the Postman, who had just the right kind of scary)

 

He is annoying though, and I can't wait until he gets what's coming to him! I'm tired of him already!

 

I haven't read the comics but the Negan story line is just too hard to believe as is Rick's total subserviency. Rick's credibility is all but lost.

Negan’s character reminds me of every good-hearted warlord, whether or not everyone that follows will be called “Negan” depends upon whether they think of him as Caesar.

After what Rick said to the son of Deanna, he is still there; “A man's GOT to know his limitations.”

All Rick needs is a hidden armory, some drone intelligence, and some seriously motivated killer chicks to fill out the ranks.

 

I think it's pretty obvious what is going to end up happening. Rick and the gang are going to hook up with other tribes and they are going to fight Negan. Some of Negan's own guys will turn on him too.

 

That's what I was thinking. I even tried to estimate how many they would be from Alexandria, The Kingdom and the amazonian women, maybe 150 plus a tiger, but they lack weapons and ammo. Nice reunion last night. I think the lurker with the funny boots is 'I want to be left alone' Carol.

 

Yes, but that all women tribe did have quite a few weapons. They do need to have enough weapons and ammo though. I liked last night's episode. I'm glad that Rick has "come back" from wimpy Rick and is going to finally start fighting back!

 

After watching this show since its conception, the last episode was going to be my last for awhile if Rick didn't man up. Thank God he finally has. Up until then his character was all but ruined in my eyes. I think the rest is fairly obvious. Alexandria will join with Hilltop and The Kingdom and stop Negan's campaign of terror.

 

I haven't been watching the last season since Glen died LOL anyway next episode looks promising, looking forward to watch it this February.

 

Is that when it's coming back? For some reason I was thinking April...

 

yep...Megan and his beloved Lucille return ( I think) on or near Valentines day.

They are trying hard to keep ratings up but imo its not working. I don't think Negan had the scare appeal they hoped for, except for the opening episode last season. Its kind of blah.
I will probably watch it, and hope for the best.

 

I couldn't agree more. That was just not Rick. Glad he's back.

I've been threatening to not watch and binge watch after the season ends. I got tired of the episodes about one or two people and leaving all these cliff hangers out there. I thought this last one set the stage for a better half of the season.

 

I'm just glad they've decided to fight back. It was really annoying me the way Rick was letting that Negan treat him and the others. If I was him, I would have at least packed up and gotten out of there. Who would want to be beholden to that psychopath?

 

I am glad they came to their senses and put Rick back on track. Turning him into a submissive wimp didn't do much to endear the shows faithful fans.

 

Has Eugene finally found his place or is he a wold in sheep's clothing?

 

I think Eugene hates Negan and is deathly afraid of him too. While he seems stupid in some ways, he is very intelligent in other ways. I think that maybe he and that ugly blonde guy (Roy? Earl? - I can't remember his name), may end up getting together and screwing Negan somehow. I think it's going to be a very interesting season.

You know there has to be a reason behind the story line of that blonde guy and his girlfriend (or wife/whatever). They are showing us how he is also abused by Negan, and everyone has their breaking point, and I am quite sure that he is going to end up turning on Negan.

 

I liked when Eugene restarted his fake story about a cure to throw Negan off. It could get interesting.

 

I liked it when he took all that stuff from that lady. Lol. He took that stuffed animal and named it gremlygook or something.

 

Actually they have used solar power although they don't spend much time on details about the regular day to day struggles of living in a post-apocalyptic world. I wish they would, I'd be more interested in that aspect of it than the constant kill or be killed scenarios.

That said, I quit watching the show because the episode where Negan kills Abraham and Glen seemed like endless torture porn and while I watched the whole thing, at the end I found I was sitting there all tensed up and miserable and realized I don't enjoy watching people suffer at the hands of someone who enjoys the horror he's inflicting. It was just enough. I may go back to watching it if they get rid of that character, but he's just too ridiculous for me.
