We are also in the early days of a new administration when the President should be his most popular (Trump is at 37% approval, the lowest of any President this early in a Presidency) and when he is accomplishing the biggest part of his agenda (all of his major initiatives are failing: Mexico aint paying for the wall, they aren't going to pass Obamacare repeal and replace, the Muslim ban has failed multiple times, he isn't draining the swamp, his budget is dead on arrival, and he hasn't even touched tax reform).

    Obama's problems were really Bush's.
    Trump's success is really Obama's.
Obama's getting robbed, coming and going!

I actually don't need a scapegoat. I will blame Trump for his own ineptitude and failures as the Commander in Chief.

After all, the buck stops with him.

If you dont think they inherited two completely difference economies and situations I dont even know what to say. People love to tout how great the stock market is under trump. When Obama became president the dow was at around 8000...When he left office it was around 19000

Well dont act like he didnt attempt to do anything. He did. Are you saying that you disagree with the system of checks and balances?

    Good.

As long as Obama and Clinton are out of office America can afford to suffer a few lost tourists.
Obama and Hillary Clinton were both bad for America and that's why Clinton lost and why Obama couldn't save her or his party.

Seriously, how can anyone defend Obama's abysmal record. Forget about democrats and republicans for a while. Judge him on his economic record. Has he improved lives for Americans? No. Has he lowered poverty rates? No. Has he helped poor? No. Has he improved lives of black communities? No.

Trump is a fall guy. Obama left the bigger bubble than the one which exploded in 2008. 8 years of printing money (without having cover for it), forcefully keeping fed rates as low as possible (surprise surprise...they've already gone up two or three times since Trump took over) have created a gigantic financial bubble.

OK, now have a look at his record. This is not coming from the right wing media.

During Obama’s Presidency Wealth Inequality has Increased and Poverty Levels are Higher

    by Rick Baum

    http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/02...-has-increased-and-poverty-levels-are-higher/

Obama's legacy....Bailed out Wall Street crooks with taxpayer money, almost 50 million Americans live in poverty, the number of poor children increased, the number of people who live in extreme poverty increased, the number of homeless people increased etc.

By the way, I understand all those liberals and many people on the left. It’s difficult to come to terms with the fact that your messiah Obama made complete fools out of all of you and took you for a ride. What’s worrying is that you still love him for it.

One more thing, I've followed politics for many years and the fact is that there's no president or politician in the U.S history who has been undermined more than the current president of the USA. I've never seen it anything like this. Liberals have gone insane. Nixon had it easy comparing with Trump.

I am not acting like he didn't attempt to do anything (with the exception of the tax reform policy thus far). I am accusing him of being terrible and ineffective at his job.

I am personally glad those checks and balances exist because I disagree with the overwhelming percentage of his policies, but I am also somewhat astounded at his ineptitude and inability to get his agenda passed despite Republicans controlling the Senate, the House, and the overwhelming percentage of House, States, and Governorships for most of the States.

Tell that to the one million Americans whose jobs are directly being affected by an idiotic policy that doesn't accomplish its stated goal.

the name of your thread implies you believe he hasnt even tried. As to the checks and balances, thats where the problem is, imo. WAY too easy to manipulate the system. By both sides. In an alternate universe, hillarys dealing with the same crap right now.

The thread just says that he has not done much. The article directly addresses the types of policies that he has tried and failed (like the muslim ban). Not sure why the article would need to be any clearer.

And you are free to make the argument that we should abolish the checks and balances system that has made our country so stable and powerful. I don't think you will get much support outside of fellow ardent Trump supporters.

Again, when the lardass in chief does something beyond prove how silly a fat old guy looks on the golf course in pleated khakis, get back to us.

the way you twist words is interesting- first, calling it a muslim ban is pure ignorance. You know that, but its a great way to get the uninformed on your side. Second, tell me where exactly i called for us to abolish the system of checks and balances. You cant, because i didnt. Your lying because im right and you have no other options.

I guess it's true what they say about if you repeat a lie often enough, the gullible will believe it.
He also got us out of NAFTA and TPP.

No, I was totally on point. The left's claim that 97% of all climate scientists has been thoroughly debunked. It was roughly 3,000 people of, which, one John Cook fostered the 97% claim. He has no formal training in climate or environmental studies. Further many of the counted 97% are redundant in that the people reviewing the study counted themselves individually for each study they reviewed. On top of that, many of the people, like Mr. Cook, had no formal training. It's junk science, but the left holds it up like gospel.
