Well that is not going to happen. I enjoy discussing history with him and we talk about anti semitism in Eastern Europe ( and elsewhere). One should not deny that there was and is anti semitism. It was part of the Christian Churches. Not just in the East but in all of Europe. He was very surprised that I was told stories as a young kid by my mother about how she witnessed ( heard the gun shots ) of Jews being executed down behind my grandfathers farm. She was 17 or 18. His relatives had told him stories about the pogroms and he once thought that all of us Eastern Slavs were anti Semite monsters. He learned something talking with me as I did talking with him.
