That I knew by logic since the Ethnic Russian population of the USSR was at about 53 or 54 % until the 1990's. So Russians would have to have constituted the majority of the prisoner population. The important question would be was the population of non Russian prisoners higher than their percentage of the total population.

I was actually referring to NKVD killing such as the type that occurred at Katyn or in Western Ukraine 1939 -1949. There was some NKVD activity in the Caucuses such as in Chechenya , Don Cossack lands, Volga German areas.

 

NKVD was a soviet organisation, not russian.

Being part of Soviet Union - is unseparable part of history of Russia. It has things, that are inspiring in it. It has things, that are to be remembered as lessons - to avoid mistakes in future. To become better - a better society, and better people. Yet - Russian Federation is not a Soviet Union - never was, and never will be. This is a fact, that is to be recognized and accepted, and we are to learn to move forward - building a better world, instead of strangling each other over disputes of the past. We are all people. We are all humans. We breathe and bleed and laugh and suffer equally. We must learn to coexist, instead of destroying each other in a new war - being it cold, or hot, local or global, nuclear or not.

 

I think my 6th feeling prompts me that the man who lived at expense of Boris Berezovski spoke what Berezovski wanted him to speak. The corrupted former FSB officer who fled to London following his patron Boris, who recieved a monthly salary from Berezovski, lived in a rental house which was paid by Berezovski, whose son went to private school paid by Berezovski - Litvinenko completely depended on his master, Boris Berezovski, and of course he spoke exactly what Berezovski wanted him to speak.

 

Nazis exist everywhere. But the specifics of Russian Nazis is, they usually sit in prison unlike the Ukrainian ones that are sitting in the Rada.

I live in Russian Federation (the population is 146 million, the territory is more than 17 million kilometers, North Eurasia). While a terrible fairy tale tells you your TV. As for the truth. The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada now has 7 deputies the members of organizations recognized by the international community as Nazi organizations. Dmitry Yarosh the former leader of "Right Sector", plus 6 members of the Party "Svoboda": Marchenko, Bublik, Osukhovsky, Golovko, Ilenko, Levchenko. Now name me the deputies of Russian The State Duma who are members of the recognized Nazi organizations? I'm curious.
