    Trump stated that he knew how to stop all the violence within a week:
    In particular, he has referenced Chicago and the gun violence there, using the city as a synecdoche for rising homicide levels in some cities across the country. Last week, during an appearance on Fox News, Trump again talked about Chicago and claimed that an unnamed “top police officer” in the city had told him that there was a way to stop the violence in a week. (The Chicago police said that neither Trump nor anyone from his campaign met with any senior command staff; a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign declined to identify this officer, only describing him as a “private individual.”)

    What should Trump then do? Send in the national guard? Do you really suppose that mr Emmanuel would actually agree to that?

    Speaking of Rahm, how is it that Obama's own "godfather" can't get a handle on violence in his city? It isn't like he hasn't had time, is it? he's been there over 5 years so why has a leading liberal voice been unable, even given the extensive restrictions on gun ownership and regulation, to get the murder rates in Chicago down? Why, when Obama was President, was this tolerated? Was it because the dirty little secret is actually that the violence creates the environment form which democrats running government justify their financial shake down? Have you seen the tax hikes in Chicago? All that money, so little to actually point to as successes.

    So, care to actually respond to this, as opposed to simply Trump hate?

    Only Trump has stated that he talked with a "top police officer in Chicago " hence why I put his words in quotes. Meanwhile the Chicago police said that neither Trump nor anyone from his campaign met with any senior command staff.

    As for a position, surely Trump should give him a top position since Trump believes that this officer''s plan can stop (or significantly) reduce the number of killed within one week of the plan being used.

    I'll be honest. Trump should have never said that it can be fixed. All of these cities have been run by liberal policies for years, it's destroyed them and there's no fixing places like Detroit, DC, Chicago, Baltimore. Liberals F-ked them for life.

    Let's just carpet bomb it all and rebuild ;)

    Yep, same with Chicago. Strongest gun laws in the nation and murder capitol of the nation. Democrats are really smart. They fight crime by punishing people that obey the law.

    It leaves me dazed how some decide to " solve " their problems by taking their guns and kill random people, and the majority of these kind of deranged acts happen in the world's leading country....
