Unlike you, I'm not about to force a woman to have an unwanted, unloved and a child that a woman has no intention of give it a good home and could care less about the kid that will eventually become a ward of the state. I would no more force a woman to have a kid than I would force a woman to have sex. In both instances, those choices should be entirely up to the woman. If you can't see forcing a woman to have a kid she doesn't want, if she wants an abortion simply means you own that woman's body. It is no longer hers, but yours to make her do what you will with her body.

Like booze during prohibition, driven underground which bootlegged booze and the mafia rose, abortion will also be driven underground. Like those who wanted their beer and whiskey during prohibition, they got it. The same with abortion, one way or the other a woman will find a way like those who found their beer.

How thoroughly Ignurnt and debased of you.You do realize that a Woman
can easily lose custody of a Child due to neglect. And many a Father is
sitting in jail right now because of not paying child support.
So much for your dopey leftists claptrap.
This asinine notion that a woman controls her body at all times.
That it's totally up to her whim as to terminating a pregnancy.
Where in Sam hill did you learn that.? Public school.
    Certainly not Catholic school.
If a woman is allowed to be so cavalier about a pregnancy, what's
to stop her once she has a baby. What ... all of a sudden she carries to term
and is considered some saint. This is where the problem originates.
The debasing of human life and whatever consequence.
Let's all just make it really simple.A fetus is Disposable.
    That's the Democrat Platform.WoW ... how dispacable.
Yet the Democrat party never views it that way.
Which explains Nancy Pelosi.Constant gesticulating with her
witchy hand gestures and near incomprehensible mumblings.
She has regularly guaranteed a special place in Hell as a
Catholic schooled in the Humanities. All for nought.

" A man may go to Heaven with half the pains which
it costs to him to purchase hell. " -- Henry Fielding

In man's life his time is a mere instant, his existence a flux, his perception fogged, his whole bodily composition rotting, his mind a whirlagig, his fame unclear. What then can escort us on our way? One thing, and one thing only: philosophy. This consists in keeping the divinity within us inviolate and free from harm ... and at all times awaiting death with the glad confidence that it is nothing more than the dissolution of the elements of which every living creature is composed. -- Marcus Aurelius.

    [ALTERNATIVELY]

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass again us.

[I find that second clause as hard as it surely was for those who heard Jesus say it ....]

I was bieng silly with the last one. I think understanding others, but don't ignore factual injustices is a keeper. Its better than getting your war buddies and attacking ( like in the middle ages)

The first is also a keeper. making excuses is for losers...making improvements is harder and benefits more people.

....I like the part I highlighted part..its very true.

    I like these quotes-

I have almost always been a B+ personality, in school and in real world endeavors. Part of the reason I am not an A+ is that I get anxious about taking my time. I feel like it's important to get a job finished and I do complete assigned tasks, but too often at the expense of rushing. Sometimes it shows in the finished product.

I once pondered about Cloistered Nuns in an Abbey.
How and why could they let themselves remain silent.
Being forbidden by their enclosed religious order to speak or
mingle outside their confines { their Abbey }.
It is an almost supreme devotion of disciplne.
Heading towards extinction, here in the states.

" The sole Philosophy open to those who doubt the
possibility of Truth is absolute silence -- even mental. " - Jacques Maritain

OK ... here goes. This is the long and short of it.
You live a life and respect others, and in particular pets,
and you'll prosper.Meaning live a LONGER life and
more in Peace. That is what I've come to conclude.
Those who try and get cutesy about what they perceive about
others and life, may end up on the short end of life.
Respect goodness and salvation with understanding and
compassion and live a fuller life.
Not just because it's Right and Good. But because it makes sense.
Who amongst us wants to be bullied or made an example of,
when there was no harm done.
I go back to a simple lesson of the Robin. That bird is
unbelievably disciplined and also brave, and caring.
So as the Robin,so to with mankind.

Know the difference between the privilege and a right, protect your rights, work for your privileges. And make sure you don't violate anyone else's rights along the way.
That's about all you need to know to live a moral life.

Art may enrich your life, or even teach you things of moral importance, but you don't need anything but some common knowledge and determination to be a good person.

Generally speaking the More Knowledge and Determination a person
acquires, the more easily they become jaded and/or corrupted.
That is why the True Saints among us are those who have
been born with low I.Q. or the precious ones in Special Olympics.
The ones with " Intellectual disability ".
Playing the part of a religious icon also does not work.
Take Cardinal Richelieu { The Red Eminence } was actually a brute.
    A terrible human being.

What feels like ages ago I opted to write a set of 10 rules for myself that I would closely try to adhere to. I suppose that's about as close to a personal philosophy as you can get. Rules being:

    1. Talk less, listen more, ask questions, offer solutions.
    2. The needs of society will always be more important than any individual.
    3. Absolute truth is impossible when perception is involved. Perception drives society.
    4. Most people are self-conscious. Those that aren't are psychopaths, sociopaths, or deceased.
    5. People's opinion of you is directly correlated to how much they need you, or how good you make them feel about themselves.
    6. Murphy's Law is a game. Change the rules to remove it's hold. If the rules cannot be changed, stack the odds in your favor. If neither can be done, stop playing.
    7. People are the ego. Society is the id. You as a person are the superego.
    8. At best, one is apathetic, then ignorant, then complacent, then complicit, then duplicitous, and then finally, the source.
    9. Success without failure is called luck.
10.Motive is the singular most important concept in humanity. Once you have motive, control, for better or worse, is established.

Firstly and Foremostly there is No One guiding Philosophy of
Mankind. With the possible exception of :
" Do to others as you would have them do to you " - Luke 6:31
" Love your neighbor as yourself " - James 2:8
Which isn't a philosophy as much a motto.
The Democrats virtually Run on Motto's.
    Where has it gotten them.

I almost totally disagree about " Motive ". It reeks of self-interest.
That is why it used extensively in regards to Crime.Or serious crime.
Saints are canonized specifically because they weren't self-enamored.
Or preoccupied about how their motives would be viewed.

" We would often be ashamed of our noblest actions
if all their MOTIVES were known . " -- Francois De La Rochefoucauld

It doesn't make it any less untrue. Motive and motivation are what drive people. A motive for someone that's truly altruistic, for example, could be that they're doing something to feel good about themselves. If you understand the motivations of the person, you can control whether or not you're a part of their life narrative, be that good or evil.

Motive psychologically is seen as a reason. If Man as rational
animal needs a reason to help his fellow man or Do Good by his
fellow man than something needs tweeking.Man is,contrary to the
lower species, endowed with Free Will. An animal in the wild may
not be blessed with the ability to do other than what is instinctual.
    No so with Man.
It really takes little to no Motive to DO THE RIGHT THING.
You are conflating " Motive " with " ambition ".
It profits no man to inherit the Earth only to lose his soul.

There's actually a direct correlation between IQ and Crime Rates in the US, actually. It's all but a statistical law at this point with how much data there is.

Plus how Society has been corrupted over the decades.
Particularly by this ludicrous notion - Is GOD Dead ? - { Time magazine }.
That was the mags cover story in April 1966.Which was exploring why
Theologians of the decade { the Radical 60's } were seriously contemplating
writing GOD out of the field of Theology.
I may not agree with Father Flanagan { Boys Town } that there is
" no such thing as a bad boy " but he backed up his claim,
time & again. Pretty sure that claim would never pass muster today.
Because thanks to the Far left,Liberalism is now all about Identity Politics.
And not for the betterment of Mankind.
Today's crime is far more devious and insidious than merely stealing
bread in order to stay alive.Or killing a father who was a repeat wife beater,
by an 11 yr. old son.
Todays Crime is usually done more for kicks or for lack of anything
better to pass the time.Like Serial Killers.Or gangs of young thugs at night
playing the - Knockout game - or - Polar Bear Hunting -.
Most those kids are a direct result of No Father in the home.
Unwed Mommies who might be on drugs. But still dependent on the
Welfare State.L.B.J.'s Great Society has produced an entire Society of
    malcontents and illiterate soulless bullies.

Smoking ANYTHING can hurt you. Your lungs were not designed to take in smoke. So that is terrible advice and very wrong as well. You can get certainly get emphysema/COPD from taking any kind of smoke into your body!
