    Fortunately Americans never do these things?

    As I said I'm all for stopping the flow of illegal immigrants. I'm just not for breaking up the law abiding families that have been here for years and have started a family

    But not you? You see clearly? Are you sure the future you see is best?

    You do understand, I take it, that the very reason America is able to help others (external others) is precisely BECAUSE they've been judicious with resources and managed borders carefully. And I'm going to assume you also understand what that actually means.

    And you've also mentioned something that all of these 'born here' types miss entirely. The insult to legal immigrants. I know plenty who quite literally, despise illegals (including those of their own ethnicity). They really REALLY don't like it.

    They don't have to be ripped apart. The wives/husbands/kids can go with them if they want. It's all personal choice, just as it was when the citizen chose to marry an illegal.

    Sad that the new administration is actually interested in enforcing the law? If you want to become a patriotic American and you are a decent and loving family, I welcome you with open arms... and invite you to get in line like every other decent, loving family who is patiently waiting to earn the privilege of citizenship of this great land. But if you can't be bothered to do that, and if you can't be bothered to respect our laws, then we don't want you. And if you have successfully evaded our laws up until now? It's time to go home.

    All of it apparently. This is one law we are not allowed to enforce... unlike every other country on the face of the planet, Mexico included who happens to enforce its southern border with brutality, extortion, and rape. But we're the bad guys.
