I remember when the ACA was passed the left was insisting that the mandates would sustain it.

    How'd that work out?

Insurers are leaving the market because Trump and the Republicans are constantly attacking Obamacare claiming it's DOA. Insurance companies want stability in the market, not continual political turmoil. The Republicans aren't allowing stability and that's scaring insurance companies away. Obamacare would be succeeding without the Republican scare tactics.

They are leaving because there IS no stability in the market and the Democrats have offered nothing over 6 years fix the problem THEY created. Obamacare was failing from the get go.

OK, then, Obamacare is a roaring success! Does that mean I get the $2,500 that President Jive-ass promised each of us every single year since Obamacare became the law of the land? Oh, yes -- I could use an extra $12,500 right now! Thanks, Obama!

I say fine.....let it run it's course. We both know the Democrats passed the ACA without the proper funding in order to pass the bill as a cost cutting reconciliation bill because they didn't have enough votes from their own party to pass it. The Republicans need to let it collapse under it's own weight and then point out that it happened because the Democrats that passed it in the first place without a single Republican vote.

I'm just glad my company gives me good premiums. I'm sure most plans give good healthcare, they just are expensive as ****.

What is Pres. Trump waiting on to put his great healthcare plan into action. That is all we heard during the campaign, sounds like he was just blowing smoke up your ass.

I cannot help but agree with you (does that surprise you?).... :omg:

More than anything else, what we on the Right were most enthused about was Trump's steely-eyed, muscular promise to repeal and get rid of Obamacare -- period! The "replace" part? Meh... truthfully, the Federal Government has damned little business getting involved in any aspect of personal business or commerce except where crimes are being committed. We already had Medicaid for the endless welfare-class, courtesy of liberal Democrat, 'Lyin' Lyindon Johnson', way back in the 1960's....

But the worst thing about Obamacare, to our way of thinking, was that the Supreme Court thought it was OK to change the entire law (as passed by Congress and signed by Obama) all by themselves, changing it from a "mandate" to a "tax" so that it could, by stretch of the imagination, be considered to be 'constitutional'. It was simply the worst thing that's been done by ANY court in the United States in decades -- unconstitutionally re-writing a law that changed it completely, and FORCING people to buy insurance whether they wanted to or not..... But that was just fine with liberal Democrats who are already on welfare and pay very little or nothing at all for anything themselves anyway!

So, the Trumpster, the 'avenging angel' who was going to put an end to this socialist monstrosity comes riding into the White House, and what happened? NOTHING! Why? Like I've said, a gaggle of RINO's became terrified of the angry mobs of welfare parasites who would "lose" their "healthcare" if Obamacare were repealed. This failure, you see, was much less about Trump "blowing smoke" up anyone's ass than about totally disorganized, cowardly RINO Republican Congressmen and Senators running away from bums, moochers, slackers, and parasites -- who have the ability to VOTE, even though they take handout welfare from the government at the same time!

After the first failure to repeal Obamacare, and with a RINO knife still sticking in his back, Trump should have publicly put the blame exactly where it belongs and left Obamcare completely undisturbed to go on with its own uniquely-Democrat destruction and death in failure and insolvency.

[IMG] . RINO's "helping" Trump get rid of Obamacare....

Did you not read the link you started this post off with?

If I understand your argument, basically, you think Obamacare is going great. So I'm guessing you would rather have it untouched, correct?

The bottomline is Trump doesn't have a plan and neither do the republicans. Both were just blowing hot air and you guys bought it hook, line and sinker.

Actually I don't think it's doing great, it could have been a good plan but he compromised just to get it through.

My point was to show it wasn't the total doom and gloom that the right makes it out to be. On the one hand it's trash on the other some folks in this country are actually benefiting from it.

Well you didn't really demonstrate that the plan is working, only that insurance companies are profiting off of it. Which I suppose, was the real purpose of Obamacare all along.
