No. What I'm saying is that Richard Spencer and the organizers of the march are too stupid to understand how events like these are essentially the greatest opportunity the Left has to eviscerate their opponents of every shade. So many things can go wrong that put the entire Right in a negative light, and today basically all of it went wrong. Violence is a guarantee, even if it is initiated by Antifa in many cases (but not exclusively) the media will be biased in favor of the Left, you have to be aware of these things from the start. This idea that just because you CAN hold a rally therefore you SHOULD hold a rally is just BS. You have to pick your battles wisely. Any progress that was made in the on-going free speech war was totally forfeited by what happened this weekend.

Fascism or in Italian “fascismo” is a word derived from “fascio” which means when translated into English a “bundle,”

Authoritarian militant ethno/racialism, otherwise describing fascism as practiced in Nazi Germany differed from Italy in so far as the Nazi’s bundle was limited to descendants of the Aryan/Germanic race. Nationalistic citizenship was not sufficient for the Nazis as it was for Mussolini.

Both nationalistic fascism as practiced in Italy and ethno/racial fascism as practiced in Germany rejected unregulated corporatism and instead supported state intervention and management of the economy and culture. It's a dumb analogy because the same principles don't apply. People wouldn't build houses if they knew that someone could just move in and take them away. That's why we would award the property rights to the builders. But there's no concern that people won't found nations if they know that people belonging to other demographics will eventually move in. Moreover, you basically ignored my point about how it would be stupid to give people priority status based on their ancestors' participation in our national history. Basically you're saying that white people have a vested interest in the demographic makeup of this country even if their ancestors were living in Europe up until the 1950s.

It's one thing to say that there are white people who are racist *******s, which is what I understand these "neo-Marxist" academics are saying. That's not the same as saying that white people should be ashamed of being white. I don't hate or love my white heritage. I would say I'm pretty neutral about it. I think that's ideally how everyone should feel about their heritage.

Not too afraid to do anything.. I'm advocating the simple strategy of picking your battles wisely. The Right came away from the Berkeley riots with the moral high ground, even in the dishonest media it was hard to prosecute a case against the Right for simply wanting right-wing speakers to have a chance to speak at a public university in the midst of Left-Wing violence. These are the kinds of rallies that actually help causes people on the Right care about and none is more important than the battle over free speech right now because free speech is everything. But when you choose as your hill to die on these flamboyant tiki torch marches where you have so little control over your own side, that is a situation that is absolutely ripe for an uncontrollable chaos that makes the Right look like the villains. All you need is one lunatic to be the poster boy of the fears SJWs have about the Right, and the MSM and Left got their poster boy today with the scumbag who plowed into people with the car.

The Left shuts down Free Speech by generating hysteria that results in people being prevented from speaking. This rally was a horrible strategic error that was easy pickings for the Left to help create the hysteria they fear will result from allowing Right-wing people to speak publicly. It is an unfortunate reality of the present time that we on the Right side of the aisle need to be more discerning about when and where they speak because of the potential for de-platforming and rioting to shut down free speech but that is the reality of the situation nonetheless. Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean it is in your best interest to do so. The Alt-Right CAN hold such a rally, but was it in their best interest to do so? No, not at all, they come off (rightly or wrongly) looking much much worse and it isn't just because of the Antifa violence today. The guy who plowed into a crowd will fairly or unfairly be labeled as the poster boy for the Alt-Right for years to come.

 

Sadly, it was. Wife treated injured. Cop says driver was antifa, being poorly directed on ground. More arrests to follow.

There's no excuse if he did this on purpose. He's a damn nutjob regardless of ideology.
