People are far more sane and connected with reality than that.

Trump is failing as president. He's not leading the world even slightly. He can't figure out how to work with congress to get anything of import passed. He can't select a staff that can do their jobs. His tax plan is bad for middle America while adding trillions to the national debt and benefitting the wealthy. His ideas on health care are totally scattered from one end of the spectrum to the other. His economic ideas are obvious garbage.

And, nothing he says can be believed.

America isn't going to see that as some sort of good thing for America. And, his polling numbers reflect that.
