In layman's terms, it's called "cut your losses".

How about this, a new law, everyone who goes to church has to be armed, then when someone thinks someone is going for the gun everyone can pull theirs out and start shooting!

Or, when billy bob looks at cletus's wife crosseyed cletus can pull out his weapon and start shooting

No, just someone who wants it both ways; they call themselves a right-leaning moderate, but support anti-gun authoritarians. Obviously they can't make an anti-gun statement and call themselves a RWer, but if they always support and defend those who do, the message is clear regardless of what they actually post.

Was the woman wearing a coat that was nearly the color of deer? Was she wearing a deer ski bed coat?
Where her dogs big and was their color clues to a deer?
If answer is yes to any if these question then the woman contributed to her own death for wearing inappropriate clothes.

The four rules of firearm safety apply to anybody handling a gun.

I'm glad that I was able to clear that up for you.

This is the cost of freedom. Not everyone is able to handle a gun. Just like not everyone can ride a motorcycle or drive a car. It’s part of life.

What? You obviouslybare not capable of clearing up anything for anyone.
The rule if treating every gun as if it is loaded always applies. Therefore when you hand a gun to someone for inspection you are obligated to to make sure that the weapon is not loaded.

In the military when the officer or a designated noncom is inspecting the ranks you are obligated to open the breach so thatbwhen the inspecting officer or noncom takes the weapon out of your hands he can look down into the breach to see if it is loaded.

I follow the the rule of checking to see if a weapon is loaded even with friends and family. There are no exceptions. I thought my daughter the same thing and when she caught her boyfriend failing to check a gun he handed her when hey we're going target practice. . He was embarrassed as all hell when she opened the breach to check and told him that the rule she follows. She did not marry that careless gaboomka
I would not have approved it! LOL

All true, but mistakes happen. You might as well say "never leave a car while it's running, but if you must, put it in park and set the parking brake". Still, accidents will happen. People make a momentary mistake that proves deadly like a car rolling over a child. **** happens.

The point the anti-gunsters refuse to admit is that mistakes happen with guns just as they do with cars, fire and everything else. Why do you think they are so biased, hypocritical and dishonest?

The rule "if treating every gun as if it is loaded" always applies. Therefore when someone hands you a gun and tells you that it is unloaded, it is your responsibility to not take their word for it and check the weapon yourself to make sure it is unloaded.

I'm glad that I had the chance to clear that up for you.

    To be honest
Again you are falsely patting yourself on the back and talking stupidities.
If someone hands me a gun and they did not check it and didvnot show me the open breach so I can see I check it myself and just say matter of factly that is what I always do do do nit take it personally.
Again do not pat yourself on the back because the only thing that you have made clear is that you are trying to make meme belive that you know something Sydney you do not.

Dude, I don't understand what you are trying to convey here since what @MolonLabe2009 said was correct.

Did you even bother reading what I said and what he wrote ? Molina did not "clear" a damn thing up. Of course you should check if a gun is loaded Shen someone hands it to you. My philosophy is that you are obligated to check and show the person you are handing it to that it is clear but that person should look at it and should verify for himself It' a double check routine. Bottom line us the person handing off a gun has the duty to check and make sure it us unloaded and t overdone revieving the gun needs to check that it was not loaded ( no round chambered). Safety is the responsibility of both parties.

You can disagree if you like.

BTW there are different sets of gun handling "rules". Common sense is one of the "rules".

Yes, I did. What I saw was you disagreeing with Molon on a specific point; those receiving a weapon should verify it's condition. This does not conflict with the responsibility of the person handing over the weapon. Even in your example of the military, the drill sergeant or officer will still look in the chamber to verify it's unloaded.

The fact you claim I disagree about firearms is a lie because I don't: "You can disagree if you like". I only disagree with your response to a particular post.
