I do and also through atheism and politics. It's my firm belief that religion or politics (...or video games, television, etc) do not make people crazy. Crazy people are looking for an outlet to express their emotions and latch onto some to use as an excuse for their actions.

We often hear about the religious nuts (yes, this includes people like the atheist/anarchist bridge plot) but rarely do we hear about the vast majority of people, be they theist or atheist, who are minding their own business and striving to make their way through life without bothering others.

Yes, when someone has a set political viewpoint, it means they have a bias toward it by default. If you were expecting nonpartisan talk commentary from those people, you were sadly deluded. They aren't going to be any more unbiased than the political partisan biased sources you just used. Why the different expectation level there, and why just slam one side for bias? That's YOUR bias.

Max, let's say we all claim Roy Moore is guilty. The man is married, to a woman that seems very very nice and she endures these claims along with his children, why think he would today do things alleged to have been done by him 40 years ago? We know that a 20 something that commits crimes is less inclined to do the same crimes as he ages. The crime rate for the elderly is very very low.

There's a differential there in that Bill Clinton started out young in Little Rock and never quit being a sex abuser. If Moore did what the allegations attest, he stopped.

 

When did he stop...if ever? All we know is from the five who've stepped forward. While it's possible they are the only ones, I doubt it. It's also possible he stopped when he married....but that didn't stop Bill nor most sexual predators.
