Why not just say, "No, I don't know" instead of claiming no one blamed the cops. 39 times they visited Cruz and
and yet never intervened even once!
Lot's of people have pointed out how various law enforcement agencies all dropped the ball, or never even picked it up to begin with.
To say "no one blamed the cops" is just horribly inaccurate.

First show me the law that says a mentally ill violence prone teen can own a gun.

Please find out who Scot Peterson is and why he doesn't have his job anymore. Then get back to me.

School shootings happen because schools are Gun Ban Zones.

I do know nobody blamed the cops for not taking away his guns. Hence I apply the fact to the conclusion that they could not take away his guns.

    http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article201835374.html

Under Florida statutes, licensed gun dealers can’t sell a firearm until a customer passes a background check. People who have been involuntarily committed for treatment for mental health, substance abuse or deemed incapacitated by a court are supposed to get reported to Florida law enforcement officials to be flagged during checks

Thank you NRA for lobbying for such laws!

Negative. You do that to make an argument.

That's why they made airplanes a gun ban zone too?

The problem with airplanes is depressurization. Are you okay with handing out box knives to passengers for self-defense? If not, why not?

Where you or anyone who with police experience there to evaluate why the police made that decision. No you were not.

Aren't we all allstars during Monday morning quarterbacking.

While I agree there's a lot of Monday morning quaterbacking going on here, especially those slinging around words like "coward", but the fact remains Cruz wasn't a stranger to the law nor to psychologists. While agree we wait before judging, clearing there is a breakdown in the system....and the solution is not banning guns, high capacity magazines nor otherwise infringing on the rights of innocent Americans.

Seriously? The cops AND Fbi have outright admitted to dropping the ****ing ball and you won't take their confessions as answers?

He CUT himself in an suicide attempt on broadcast social media. < That's crazy and more than enough for a hold.

But keep being a lickspittle for the broward county sheriffs, who stood outside listening to the sounds of defenseless children being murdered with their dicks in hand.

39 encounters with police, from numerous sources for the call out, heavily armed and has tried to commit suicide and told the whole world about it on the myface with LIVE video.

    Spare us your protestations.

The solution is going to be a lot of diferent policies because the causes of these mass murders are varied. Banning guns will not happen because even the gun banners will realize that would not be practical even if theybwerecstupidvenoigh tomtry.

Sheriff Israel is a total grand-stander. You should have seen him on the CNN special last week, cheering for the pro-gun-control side and pretending to be their champion. The only one he cares about is himself. The NRA spokeswoman called him out on how he missed the chance with the 39 police calls to the shooter's home. Then he actually tried to deny that it was 39 calls out to his house. The Sheriff needs to resign immediately, he's a total disgrace, let the people down, people died.

They made the entire plane a weapon free zone, world wide.... to make planes safe. Weapons kill. That's why we don't want North Korea to have a nuclear bomb. Take a hint.

I never said that the police of the FBI did everything right and there was a point where the FBI did fail to act on a tip. You are making it sound as if it was 100 % the fault of the FBI and or the police. The truth as usual us somewhere in between.

Before you go off and accuse others of "lickspittle" you should look into the mirror and check yourself for partisan butt k..... of the Florida governor. And use a Klenix you missed the left side of your mouth.

Partisan party politics have no place here.

You may quote where I have lauded Florida Governor Rick Scott. Go on. Show the class my copious quotes singing his praises.
Don't worry, none of us will hold our breath while we wait.

    Eh?

You can't find any quotes from me about Rick Scott? O dear. I wonder why?

I stated that the police royally ****ed up because they had 39 shots at the dude, including one after he PUBLICLY BROADCAST a suicide attempt, and couldn't make a case stick or get him committed on a psych hold ffs.

The same department 4 members of which stood around listening to gun fire and not doing crap.

I'm on the record as supporting Gov Scott. My organization the NRA of course wanted none of it. I disagree. Not my home state but I've lived here for 3 and years now and he is a good governor. Republican Governors have this tendency of showing up big when it counts.

He was down in Parkland fast. He read the situation went back to Tallahassee and told his very dominated GOP legislature... We are going to write policy that ensures the best we can this never happens again to our kids.

They not listening to anyone. NRA, polls, CNN, Nada. Just pow pow pow.

Teachers and staff have option to be armed

Purchasing an assault rifle raised to 21

    Sale of bump stocks banned

Serious mental health money going in with the ability of cops to seize a mentally troubled person's guns for up to a year. Appeals process built in.

All of that is assured. No assault rifle ban like the kids wanted but they were listened to for several hours.

I support every bit of that. Looking forward to the final bill

Maybe I already live in a gun free society. Face it... Europe is rather gun free and they don't do got that. Not on the scale in the US.

There's that little problem again. The thing that you claim to
"know", nobody blamed the cops who investigated and called on Cruz thirty-nine times, for not removing guns from his possession is not so. You can Google the matter right now and prove that to yourself (or you could, IF you were interested in the truth).

What you insist is just is not factually and objectively true. It isn't! Period!

Yes. Thank you for flagging people who are alleged to be mentally unfit or incapacitated in some manner during back ground checks for the benefit of Florida law enforcement for further action.

Is this something I am supposed to hate the NRA for? Are you trolling?
I'm not sure you understand your own position here. This is quite amazing.
