Gang numbers according to the FBI - https://www.fbi.gov/investigate/violent-crime/gangs

I own 7 firearms, I've watched them carefully for nearly 2 decades.....Not a single one has committed a crime or killed anyone, how can this be?

Tidal waves can kill large numbers of people as well...should we all live in boats?

As much as I try...I'm simply unable to give you respect...as much as you beg.

Only in America. Which indicates a social problem. Which indicates you probs shouldn't all have guns.

What percent wish to scrap the 1st Amendment?

How about the 4th and 10th, already GWTW.

Polls can be as stupid as people.
What's wrong with that 21%? Not the 79%

Lots of non-seqs and unsupportable assumptions in all that.
Why don't you clean those up and then get back to us.

It's a tiny percentage heavily concentrated in specific areas.

    What do we want?

    Transparent backpacks!

    When do we want them?

    Now!

I have seen no polling on the fourth and tenth. I'm sure you knew that before you posted, but that didn't stop you, did it?

Then why do Conservatives make the most money?

The majority of your base are people who make less than $30k. Now granted, they may have awesome degrees. Gender studies and Deconstructing Beyonce, for example.

They're not what we'd refer to as "successful" in the classical sense.

Please describe how a gang member gets a gun for us, so we can see how easy it is and all.

    WRONG QUESTION.
You should be asking what's wrong with the 21%- and the answer is they don't think further than where there head is at the moment.

The hidden argument in Stevens’ pitch is this: An individual’s sacred right to self-defense, to the defense of innocents and against government, boldly embodied in the Second Amendment- is transferable to government.
That prospect should scare hell out of all of us.

The first 10 amendments are the Bill of Rights. The amendment that insures the other 9 will endure is the Second.
If you scrap the Second- all the rest can come under attack in short order, and the same people who would take that right will gladly take the rest.
For your own good, of course.

How simple life would be without the Bill of Rights. Getting rid of our First Amendment would then free government of nettlesome critics, end the bother of respecting religious worship, shut up the press, and clamp down on protests like the ones held by young people and their supporters last weekend.

Mahatma Gandhi, one of the strongest peace promoters in history, defended every individual’s right to bear arms. Recalling how Indians were disarmed by the British with the Arms Act of 1879, Gandhi wrote: “Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest.”

Your 21% have their heads where the sun don't shine, and their vision is very, very limited.

And, as it serves the benefit of power to disarm the citizens, who is going to care what justification you have- when you have no power?

Arguably the ONLY Amendment that has no reason for being (notably once the Dick Act turned the militia into the National Guard) IS the Second.

That said...passing Amendments is incredibly hard. Note we still have not passed the Equal RIghts Amendment or the Child Labor Amendment

Sure, if you want to argue from ignorance and a complete disregard for history.

Who have also ruled that the police have no individual mandate to protect your life. Multiple times.

Scroll up a few posts to the one from me starting with WRONG QUESTION.
It will explain why the reason for the Second amendment is the preservation of the rest of the Bill of Rights. If you don't value those either....

Yeah, people are just suggesting we get rid of the 2nd, ban all semi-automatics.

    All in our heads really.
