A man dies and the only thing you miserable people can do is blame the deceased?

Of all the things to nitpick though, honestly.

False analogy. Look it up. All elements have to be equivalent. They aren't.

The poor man was a three time loser. Not being able to sell because of Trump. Not having sprinklers in his apartment because of Trump. And just having been in any way associated with the Orange Jack*** at all.

The Life and Safety Code has developed over time as a result of tragedy, not in anticipation of it.

Retrofitting buildings can be prohibitively expensive.

How many people have died in fires over the last 10 years in NYC in buildings without fire sprinklers.

Did those deaths matter, or only the ones connected to Trump?

Actually, the miserable people are those trying to blame Trump for this....a little thing called fake news.

Hope it feels better to have gotten that out. A fire doesn't indicate poor construction. It indicates heat, oxygen and fuel - all of which are available almost everywhere that people live.

If we are concerned about putting parentheses around the word "women" then there is little help for us.

Such a pathetic excuse. The same pathetic excuse why he won't pay his share of taxes because "He followed the law." Doing anything minimally just show him to be a sad human being without any forethoughts to his tenants. And you expect him to take care of the people in this country when he can't even take care of his tenants??

Amazon followed the laws too, but that didn't stop Trump and the RWers from dumping on them did they?

Your nonsensical rants and raves do not address the fact that this man died in a fire in a building that is lacking of fire sprinklers. Had Obama owned this building you would rant about him and how it was the "leftist marxist socialist progressives" fault.

    Excuses and whataboutism.

Here's my suggestion: Trump should divest himself of his businesses, thereby bringing himself in compliance with dozens of ethical and moral obligations, limiting potential violations of the emoluments clause, and making unfortunate incidents like these the problem of the new owners.

Your response is to point to me to another nonsensical rant. Go figure.

    LOL

In other words, you hate Trump and rational objective thought is never going to be applied to him.

Then they aren't required in that part of his and every other building. You make it look like only his buildings are grandfathered in.

Why haven't all the libs who have been running NYC since then done away with that grandfather clause? The blood is on their hands.

Did you have any point to this thread other than to bash Trump?

You cannot blame Trump for 100% of this; the man cannot read, spell or write at what most people would consider to be a normal level. In fact his sentence structure level is that of a 6th grader. Most of the people who voted him into office are at the same level as he is when it comes to the various skills I mentioned in my first sentence; in other words, he is reflective of those who voted him into office.

As I pointed out, the hate for the President removes any rational objective reasoning. Point to the laws the President has broken related to his business activity.

In the end, as with every sliver of news related to the President, it's only news because the noise machine blows dog whistles hourly designed to trigger it's target audience.

    I LOVE IT!

The same delusional feelings of superiority from the alt-left that got Trump elected. Keep that attitude, Sport. We need your kind to keep Republicans in power.

I'm glad you have such confidence; America will have to crash and burn before they realize the mistake they made by letting republicans run the country. I think they'll realize it in the upcoming elections. :)

    Cheers.

Why would you try and score political points off this tragic event?

The powers that be made that decision and the consequences of it real or imagined are theirs and theirs alone. Ultimately though it's the tenants choice to live in an apartment without sprinklers and nobody is to blame for their decision but them.

It's not false that he built this building w/o sprinklers to save money, a ****ing billionaire. It's not false he said what a well built building it is. It is not false that this man died because of Trump's greed.

Good example of the difference between Democrats and conservatives. Democrats want a mommy government to take care of them while conservatives want to be left alone to care for themselves. On this sprinkler issue the tenants have ultimate responsibility for their own lives and if they feel no sprinklers is not an acceptable risk they are free to seek other accomodations.
