Even if Assad did do that, why should we care?

and where is the evidence of it?

I'm sure he could rattle off a "in our thoughts and prayers" tweet if you think that will help.

I did. I said that only those who are not just pathetic deadpans are expected to care.

Not trivial at all. It's sign of the boarderline psychopathic personalities that this President has brought to surface in our country. How curious that most of them come from what used to be "the Party of Christian values"

We should not get any more involved in this. That is what the United Nations is for. If the world community wants to do this let them vote on it.

I still say sink whatever naval vessels they have at sea. Nice and clean. Would kill only Syrian military. And our navy gets in some target practice against moving targets

Sorry, but that's not an answer. It's just you throwing out pejoratives with nothing of substance, and certainly no answers to the questions I posed.

You don't even have evidence that Assad is responsible for the gassing.

Trump is learning that we're keeping him on a short leash. Working class Americans elected him, and we are the ones he needs to cater to. We didn't like it then, and second chances are not given.

He's not perfect, and we knew that, but the alternative was Hillary.

Personally, I gave up on the guy, but I do think he understands who he owes allegiance to, and it's not democrats who would love nothing more than another stupid war in the middle east.

Well, let me rephrase it. You asked "why should we care?" Well, we should care so those "pejoratives" you mention don't become an appropriate description of us.

You have already decided that they apply to you. I decided not to. Each one of us will decide.

Me? If you want me to get you evidence, you would need to name me President and pay me an appropriate salary. I know I'm not qualified, but anybody could do a better job than the dope currently holding the office. For now, it's his job.

But that's besides the point. The point is that, evidence or not, you don't care that innocent people are attacked with chemical weapons. So that says plenty about you and all those like you....

We should care because what you call him don't describe us? lol

Dude, you need to bone up on basic arguments and logic. It's all about premises and a conclusion based on those premises. Your argument is that we should care because of what other people might think of us.

    Stupid.

Yep! Most of us don't want to be known as unscrupulous oafs . I'm sure this is foreign to you. But most of us do feel a certain empathy for our fellow human beings. It's what has kept our species going.

What a joke of a response. The fellow asked if you had evidence that Assad used Chemical weapons.

If you actually cared that innocent people were attacked with chemical weapons - then perhaps you might spend some time trying to find out who is guilty of the attack.

    Clearly - you don't care.

I have my doubts that Assad is responsible for either one of those chemical attacks. It really doesn't make sense for him to do it. If I remember right, Trump was going to quit arming the resistance against Assad and now Trump is talking of pulling our troops out. How does that hurt Assad? It only hurts the resistance. It would help the resistance in having Trump bomb Assad's military assets that could be used against the resistance and if it keeps our troops there longer, fighting ISIS and helping the assistance, The resistance wins, not Assad. I can't see anyway Assad would gain by doing this.

It's consistent with his use of barbarity to intimidate Syrians.

LOL, never trust what our own experts say, can't buy that, gotta find the real truth from Infowars.

Even Trump believes our experts. For the very first time he called Putin out by name. Did he make a mistake???

I give Trump his very first attaboy...

Why not? Assad long ago decided to use barbarity to intimidate his political opponents.
Assad gassing Syrians isn't going to change U.S. policy.

What benefit would he have for gassing innocent civilians? He knows America would retaliate against him and cause the U.S. to stay longer. There is no benefit for him to do it. There is plenty of benefit to the opposition.
