So you prefer to manage high school drop outs or college grads?

Are you capable of posting facts and not opinion?
I've asked you now 4X, to show the college graduates are not educated.

Talk about sweeping generalizations. What evidence do you have that what you claim is actually a mainstream thing? Anecdotal stories don’t count.

Employers don't prefer college graduates due to college graduates having any more knowledge or other asset. They prefer college graduates due to "signaling".

Hmm, false premise, normal people object to other ideas being delegitimized, suppressed, banned, often violently and/or by mob rule.

All things being equal, why would I hired a high school drop-out vs. a college grad??

My guess is if a high school drop out, you might be able to brainwash them into your belief system.
Probably will quit his job in under a year, but hey, you tried.

    Every RWer in this thread.
One is so against it, he thinks colleges don't actually educate. Those Chem Eng degrees, or business degrees are handed out simply by paying your 4 or 5 yr tuition I guess.

Well, some RWers have a few good points. Look at those childish kids at Berkeley that riot when they don't get their way. There are conservative colleges they could go to though.

I agree. Liberals should send their kids to colleges to get decrees in art, music, medieval history, sociology, and philosophy.

Conservatives to send their kids to trade schools to learn engineering, electronics, and other practical technical skills.

Then those conservative kids can hear nice music when walking down the sidewalk to a restaurant played by liberal kids with a bowl seeking spare change from passer-bys.

So your question is asking for the difference between the average starting salary of a rich liberal white kid Democrat vs a black high school drop out Democrat?

I wonder what the starting pay is for someone with a masters degree in modern anthropology from a liberal arts college vs the average starting pay for someone with a master electrician degree from a trade school.

For the business I am most familiar with, one of the managers is a high school drop out and the other only a high school degree. The college grad is entry level and very glad to finally get a full time job.

The undercurrent to this, of course, is Democrats spitting a people who join the military after high school, rather than leaching off the government to attend a liberal arts university for 4 years or party time at everyone's expense - then to list to them sob about the massive debts they made for themselves ranting that they are victims of rich people. All the while the brag they are just too educated to take a job below their high self-ego - thus forcing them to move into their parents basement and the parents to pay for them to play video games and surf the Internet - while spitting at blue collar workers and military personnel as stupid and inferior.

for starters because all things are never equal. If I had a preference I would administer aptitude tests for most jobs and people who scored highest would be my preferred hires.

How ignorant you are. Here are the top engineering school. Berkeley is number 3.

    1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
    2. Stanford University
    3. University of California, Berkeley (UCB)
    4. California Institute of Technology (Caltech)
    5. University of Wisconsin-Madison
    6. Princeton University
    7. University of Minnesota
    8. University of Texas at Austin
    9. Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech)
    10. Yale University

Number 2, 3 and 4 is in a "liberal" state.

High school drop-outs have zero clue about engineering. How would they ever past your aptitude test to be an engineer???

I think the official Democratic Party under Obama policy is that kids should not work and instead should live with their parents leaching off of them until at least age 26.

It is always amusing reading Democrats ranting that smart people get degrees in the humanities, while declaring how stupid people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are because of no college degree. :roflol:

The rantings of Democrats on this thread, of course, is a transparently false strawman lie. Conservatives complaint is not about education. It is about education being eliminated on behalf of easy indoctrination courses in liberal PCism. It is about PC enlightened kids graduating from liberal run high schools who are illiterate and the government paying for absolutely worthless degrees in what equates to political and social correctness.

The fact is that historically in the USA, the wealthiest people and the people that caused many of the greatest technological advancements to the betterment of the average person and the country did not have a college degree.

How many job interviews by personal department interviewers ask applicants: "How many different genders can you name?" to decide which college graduate to hire? To cross out the place to check male or female, and write in "Genderqueer non-binary two-spirit winkte" as the person's sex. Yet liberals say THAT is the educational path to a great job and career.

What a bunch of irrelevant ranting fake news. You use a piece of a hardware and software to rant your nonsense that was engineered by liberals who got educated from the liberal schools. Your nonsensical ranting would lead other people to believe you'd rather be dead than to face a future full of the boogeymen you created in your own mind. Like I said, y'all are a riot.

Agree. However, schools that receive tax money ought to be held to certain standards.

Private institutions are free to indoctrinate to their hearts’ content.

Are you capable of making even one post sans ad hominem?

Now, please share with the class the difference between educuation and indoctrination — I think you have them confused.

The problem with that idea is that all the proggies will end up with useless degrees and loads of student loan debt and will be living with mommy and daddy, while the conservatives will be productive members of society.

Actually, that's a lot like it is now, so I guess nothing will change.
