1. How many people would condemn Israel, if instead of rocks, the Palestinians had grenades.
2. How many people think the Palestinians would choose grenades over rocks.
3. What is the balance of justice between intent and result.
4. If someone threatened to kill you and your family - except your daughters, whom would survive as sex slaves, and despite them not having the resources to do so at the time, you believed their threat - would you kill them immediately, or wait until they posed a risk?
5. If you where unsure of the threat, at what percentage risk would you preemptivly defend yourself and family? 80%? 40%? 10%?
6. Do you think you can get rid of a religion through logic and reason?

 

Push a little harder and they'll tell you they think Israelis should "go back" to Europe. When you tell them more than 70% of Israeli Jews were born in Israel and most have no other citizenship, they go into confused dog mode...

I think it's time for Israel to declare generous borders in the West Bank, create a land bridge between the West Bank and Gaza through the Negev, and establish Palestine as a demilitarized state. Israel can set the borders as interim and offer to discuss final borders as part of a comprehensive, final agreement.

You can't condemn one group for doing something, without equally condemning the other unless you feel some people are more worthy than others. If you do, then you are a supremacist which means you're a Nazi.

Anyway don't get me wrong about Jerusalem. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be the capital of the Jewish state, and the Arabs are being foolish. But how can any human being with any sense of right and wrong not condemn Israel?

Looks messy. I don't get why the Jews and the Arabs can't share a secular state that is neither wholly Palestine nor wholly Israel yet has one whole territory, though. Why was Israel created as such when a less invasive, less ethnocentric solution must have been possible?

They two peoples don't get along. If you look at the topography of Israel and where people lived after WW2, the borders made a lot more sense than would be obvious from looking at lines on a map. The great tragedy of the Palrstinian people is that the surrounding Arab countries spent several decades trying to rub out Israel.
