Sending them back home. While they are awaiting this process there is no legitimate reason to separate the families. Put them in refugee camps like other countries do.

Not under Trump.The parents aren't deported, they are imprisoned without a trial, and it may take years for them to face a judge under the current system. In the meantime around 2000 kids have been removed from their parents, set up in detention centers, separated from their siblings, not allowed contact with siblings, or parents, and only allowed outside the detention center for 2 hours a day.

 

Wouldn't matter if they were Jews, or not. The reality is the children were taken under the excuse they were going to be given a "shower", and never returned. That is the analogy the right wing wants to ignore.

 

What your doing is expressing your opinion on this news piece; however the fact of the matter is if the material aired was staged you might have a valid point, however everything they reported was factual and the opinions given were by doctors (legitimate sources) who are more qualified to give valid opinions then the average viewer/listener/reader. I think what it comes down to is that some people have different feelings about this and are going to claim that the media is biased because they are not in agreement with the presentation.

The best thing to do is if you do not agree--for whatever the reason--find another news source to get your news from. That's what I'd do if I felt as you apparently feel.

If Hitler didn't kill Jews because of their Jewishness, he was still obsessed with identifying them and killing them.

 

Unfortunately for America, the news media is not required to tell the truth since the media is not the court.

One thing that is important to remember; there is a media outlet for almost every political persuasion out there; if you don't like what Fox or CBN air, you can always go over to CNN or MSNBC or PBS, etc. People who turn on MSNBC or CNN and feel they are only telling the half truth or outright lie in their opinion have a choice; the same holds true for for any other news outlet etc go find a news source to your liking.

 

There is no law that says a child must be separated from their REFUGEE CLAIMANT parent.

Nothing like misrepresenting the law and blaming democrats for a trump/DOJ POLICY. He can stop it with a phone call if he wants.

When did our country tell people you’re free to sneak in the country separately from your kids? Who said your kids get asylum? Who said anyone gets asylum just by asking for it?

I don't recall thousands of interned children of asylum seekers under Obama. I musta missed that one.

I do recall that family detention of illegal border crossers and internment of unaccompanied children was implemented under Obama.

I do not recall that legitimate asylum seekers were getting separated from their children. In fact they were called "family retention centers".

I realize gross generalizations are a partisan thing. But when those generalizations ignore nuance and unconforming facts, any meaningful discussion of the issues at hand becomes out of reach becoming nothing more than one side of monkeys fling poo at the other.

Basically they’re following the same policy that’s already been in place. Just because Trump is actually enforcing it more stringently doesn’t mean he’s lying at all. Nothing has changed except the tone and spin of the story. And the large number of children sent as a group has highlighted it. The MSM simply ignored it under the past admin.
