Of the original 6 Muslim countries, only 5 are left ... and these 5 have been supplemented by 2 other more hostile and not Muslim countries. On the whole, the ban affects these 7 countries:
Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen.

So Trump had to repeal the ban on an Islamic country ... Iraq ... but he also had to make concessions in terms of content, because, for example, green card holders and valid visas should be spared the ban, which was not the case in the first draft the case was.
Of course not an open word from Trump that he had to make concessions and of course ignorant silence with the Trump fans!

Trump has won the Supreme Court with a tight 5: 4 decision only because he played the "Beat All Arguments Card" of US National Security ... means in detail: Trump's argument for the Ban is that he is thus the entry of wants to prevent enemy terrorists in the US.

If we look at all Islamic terrorist attacks in Europe, Australia and the US since 9/11, then 95% of the attacks are from the terrorists from those countries.
Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, the Gulf States, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Iraq, Libya.
Entering citizens from these countries is undoubtedly an increased security risk ... but is one of these countries on Trump's ban list, or is it just intended, according to statements from the Trump administration, that one of these countries should come to that? NO!

So the whole thing with the terrorist defense as argument and reason is a single and total lie of Trump ... and there is nothing to discuss and deny about!

And when we take a closer look at these 7 countries, it becomes even clearer that Trump is about something quite different from defending terror! All 7 countries are considered more hostile to the US in terms of governments, or large parts of their populations. So, in truth, it's a punishment of countries that reject cuddling with the US and are unwilling to cooperate with the US, at least at the level of regimes and governments ... perhaps with good intentions with the term national security can be justified, but in no case with defense of a terrorist threat, because there are other countries far more dangerous!

And as proof of that fact is Iran! Yes, Iran is for the right-wingers the image of evil and how much Trump and his puppets in Washingtoin Iran we hate too. Conversely, the US is of course just as popular in Iran ... but what acute terrorist threat actually comes from Iran? The answer is NO DANGER!!!

As for your visions of alternate routes to the US, any rule can be violated if one is willing to violate laws, use fake documents , etc. The ban does make it more difficult though, and can discourage more bad guys from coming here. Also, no one has ever said this ban is the last word. Remember, this ban was a watering down of previous tougher bans, which Trump himself said were preferable.

There's no reason to believe that those stronger bans, with more safeguards written in, will not now be enacted. Let the rogue judges strike them down too, and let the SCOTUS strike down the rogue judges, again and again. Lots of ground yet to be covered here. This could be just the first win of a bunch more wins.

As for my "brain power", I've done more research for 17 years on Islam, terrorism, and Islamization than probably 90% of the posters here.
