    Woods snarkily and smartly responds to SJW Ken's snarky virtue signaling, and it's Woods who is vilified.

    myopic Ken stepped on his own rake, and the usual suspects rush to defend him against the mean smart guy. lol.

    If the agent feels that he can't be Woods agent anymore due to his public image and make sure that his client has jobs lined up, then he was dropped. Or maybe the agent just got tired of defending Woods? Maybe the agent had moral qualms about supporting a guy that claims to support a president that wants to lock up children and hold them hostage because they traveled hundreds of miles to the US, as refugees, looking for asylum? Or maybe it has to do with Woods being accused of this:

    If the agent and Woods can't get along privately or even professionally, then maybe it was time for both of them to go their separate ways? Then again I usually hear about actors firing their agents and not the other way around. Woods is a pretty famous actor so I assume that he would have no trouble finding an agent and/or another acting jig in the future.

    No doubt he's had a very successful career... I doubt I would call him the "star" of many of those movies (He starred in something called This Girl's Life??), but there are some good ones on there... a forgotten very good movie is "The Onion Field" in 1979... He's also particularly creepy in the mostly lame "Ghosts of Mississippi" (staring future Trump Alec Baldwin)

    I think the bigger problem is your list stops at 2005. His IMDB page has him doing stuff since then, but mostly dreck. If he was still a valuable Hollywood property, his agent wouldn't have cut the cord...

    OTOH, that's a pretty sh*tty way to dump a client... don't know how long they were together...

    P.S. I love that he starred in "Rudy - The Rudy Giuliani story"... Timely, huh??

    Yep, but I was actually in a movie with James Woods once. The Specialist. Which was also pretty bad.

    Probably 95% of the movies he has been in somebody else was the star attraction.

    I've always loved his acting but I gained even more respect upon hearing he had become so vocal for conservatism standing against Hollywood which are all so brutal. There are actually a lot of celebs that are conservative but the left has gone off the reservation and has downright hateful to the point of firing actors completely who just admit being conservative let alone those who speak up on conservative issues. So most have been silenced.

    James is a staunch patriot who doesn't hold back and now they're making him pay the price which shows just how polarized this country has become. Not that long ago we were all just Americans who basically got along no matter what party affiliation we followed. We merely agreed to disagree and then went out and had some beers together...now everyone is so mad at the antics of the other side not only do they not want to associate, they think of them as an arch enemy which is really sad.

    The venom spewed from all parties and their biased media minions needs to stop if America is to heal but I know it won't happen because this is really allcoming from outside sources like George Soros, Russians and lord knows who else, that are behind all this and want the country divided because it makes it much easier to conquer. At any rate, James Woods is one of those that feels that strongly about the country and is very patriotic.

    I only know James Woods from his appearances on Family Guy and that is pretty much it. I don't remember seeing him in any leading role in any movie but more like playing a supporting actor.

    I'll have to double check this,but I recall an interview Woods
    gave years ago where he explained going from MIT into the
    acting profession.I think he said he aced his SAT's.But then most those
    who get into MIT ace their SAT's { score of 1600 or 800 math and 800 verbal}

    His breakout Hollywood movie was a pretty watched movie.
    It was the one I first remembered seeing him in.He was very
    good.Yes,in a creepy role.He's been used in many creepy roles
    every since that movie.
    it was ... - The Onion Field - { 1979 } haven't seen it in like
    20 or more years.It starred his partner in crime { cop killers }
    Franklyn Seales { a very different kind of black actor with talent }
    He died young.I saw another very talented black actor last night while
    watching TV series I just ordered -- Mannix -- { Season 3 }
    His name was James Edwards and he had as much or more talent
    than Sidney Poitier.More talent in certain dramatic settings.

    Yeah, I mentioned The Onion Field back in post 28... I got that from our local library about 7 months ago... pretty darn good movie, and no doubt James Woods was the best thing in it... It was a Wambaugh book, so you know it covered cops pretty accurately.

    Now, for my 50K question.... and NO cheating on the web.... Name the actor who played the cop who got killed by James Woods?? (Anybody can make a guess)

    He was most likely a relative unknown in 1979, but was a household name within 4 years AND remains a pretty prolific actor today...

    - Cheers - barkeep Ted Danson who did a really good - Creepshow - {1982 |
    with Leslie Nielsen as a crazed Beach dilettante who got his kicks
    slowly torturing Danson.
    Danson was the boyfriend of Whoopie Goldberg and also did
    another TV series - Becker - where he plays a doctor in a poor section
    of New York city and starts his day off at a local diner with a cup of java
    and a cigarette.

    Yes, Woods has always been too smart to be an actor.

    He's done some very good acting but definitely is not your prototypical
    leading man type.I like the movie he did with Sean Young { considered a
    troublemaker on a movie set } titled - The Boost - { 1988 } as
    a newfound Californian who does very well for himself in
    Tax Shelter investments.Then those Tax Shelter gains are offset
    by new laws and Woods as Lenny starts going broke.He turns to
    a fix which relieves his sadness and also cheers him up.
    It's the dreaded White Powder.Cocaine. The movie ends sadly yet
    realistically as this sort of thing { Lifestyle } was quite rampant especially
    in Big City's across California.

    You misspelled "winner" but to answer your question, he's a very smart guy and his political views fit with most American citizens in almost every state outside of California.

    Diggstown is excellent, James Woods has been generally excellent as well.

    I disagreed with the right trashing De Niro 2 weeks ago and now the left repeats the same mistake lol.

    You guys and your tragic predictability.

    But De Niro was foul and classless. Surely you can see the difference? Well maybe you can't. You're liberal and feel entitled.

    True. He shouldn't have asked how you'd feel if you lost your job over politics. Better question to ask is what if Trump had your government assistance blocked because you don't like him?

    No accusations older than a year should hold any weight. That goes for both sides. If a girl waited that long to come out and say something then she was never worried about it. I don't believe her.Someone should give her a hug and tell her everyone is paying attention to her so she'll go away.
