I would bet most independents use to be Democrats than Republicans.

The Republican Party under Trump has devolved into a real clown show. I have heard that from a lot of friends that have been lifelong Republicans. Joe Scarborough, Steve Schmidt, Peggy Noonan, George Will and other former GOP stalwarts are totally disgusted with what their party has become.

 

The GOP is a very diverse political party.

Nobody knows what a Scarborough is.

But Schmidt, Noonan and George Will are neoconservatives.

I think Mueller's witch hunt already lost any credibility with most Americans no matter what he comes up with.

Mueller should have hired at least one Republican lawyer or even one Democrat lawyer who hadn't donated money to the DNC or the Hillary campaign.

It kinda looks like it was crooked Hillary and the DNC who were in collusion with the Russians and when President Trump was about to declassify and release the FISA documents earlier this month who got all nervous and asked President Trump not to release the FISA documents ? Maybe British intelligence was meddling in our elections ?

The bottom line is blaming one side so completely and casting them in the worst possible light will not better the country. Doesn't matter if you are blasting Republicans or Democrats. This relationship is forever. This isn't a marriage headed for divorce, this is a family gathering at Thanksgiving and the blood bond will always be there. So just like those family arguments feel so good in the moment but ultimately are best resolved with some sort of agreement to coexist and share mutual respect for the sake of the family, our nation needs to stop the divisive hate spewing on both sides and work towards finding common ground. Both sides will have to give up ground at various times and fight like hell later to regain it, and that's all fine and part of the process, but there needs to be a foundation of respect and understanding that the other side is still family and is allowed to have a real voice in the process.

If we can't get back to that, we are lost. The most unpatriotic thing I can think of is someone not understanding that basic principle.

 

The closest thing we have to a totalitarian state in America is the hermit kingdom of California and the radical left have been in control of California for decades.

The Democrats have held supermajorities in both legislative chambers. The Assembly has been in Democratic hands since the 1970 election, except for 1995-1996. The Senate has been controlled by the Democrats continuously since 1970. As for the Governor, well, the last semi-real Republican Governor was Pete Wilson.

The Democrats are focused exclusively on legislation which either has to do with wealth redistribution or creating new “rights” for alleged victims such as illegal aliens, criminals, union members, homosexuals, transgenders and other PC protected groups.

The reality is that the average middle class Californian hasn’t had representation in Sacramento for decades.
