    I wish I wish her a speedy recovery. My question is what do you predict Democrats are going to do if the unthinkable happens and Trump with his newly emboldened Senate confirms yet another judge?

    Hopefully RBG gets better.
    I'm sure DJT has the bullpen warmed up, just in case; I am equally sure someone has already claimed to have been raped by whoever he nominates.

    She has had a remarkable career and is one of our national treasures. I wish her well.

    That being said, I will take another Supreme Court nomination over the speakers gavel any day.

    oh my goodness...all the protest signs, one for each possible Trump pick, have barely had time to collect dust.

    Just because I disagree with someone - even as fervently as I disagree with RBG on a number of issues, I would NEVER wish ill will on someone else. I hope she does retire, and soon... but I'd like it to be for the right reasons.

    You think once you're hitting the 80s, the light just isn't as bright up there anymore, nor do they have the energy to do the job well. Considering she's nodding off in plain sight, like most 85 yr olds do during the day, its time to retire already. Hang it up graciously.

    the fact that they cannot stop confirmations doesn't mean they won't do their level best to smear anyone Trump (or any right-winger) nominates (from now until the sun burns out)

    It's what commies do...they will try to discredit, delegitimize, hang an 'asterisk' on anyone who poses a threat to their obtaining power and more free stuff.

    All true but if there were not television platform for their grandstanding it would be minimized.

    "This" is where you draw the line as to what is ugly involving the Supreme Court?

    With the Senate shifting even further to the Right, if Ginsburg bites the dust it will be a pretty much immediate confirmation. Not to mention Progressives have destroyed any clout of challenging they had with the Kavanaugh debacle.
